Yes, at least £2m, to cover the losses we're making playing in Northampton.

Tynan Scope, commercial sales manager for Coventry City, said: “We see the superstore as a centre for a whole range of on-going events and community activities and we are busy planning the next few months."

Didnt he used to play for us ?

Hilarious. Some people really are starting to hate their own football club.

Personally I am delighted the club shop did well last night and has been well received. If we are to have any chance of keeping hold of key players the club need to start taking some money.

The ribbons signify bringing the club back to Coventry. How is that hating your own club.
You really must read your posts before you make them.

As for the shop it would do so much better if the club were at the Ricoh.
Surely you can see that ?

How can the fans get incentive to spend there money when SISU have made the decision they don't want it by moving to Sixfields?

I get all that you fool. I understand the significance, but I don't see where the 'lol' came into it. Perhaps you think it is funny.

And let's not pretend that there are not people (yourself included) who would have loved nothing more than for the new club shop to fail.

People would have to be saying some pretty heavy stuff for the police to take anything seriously. 99.9% of the 'nasty' things said about him here for instance would see him charged with wasting police time if he reported them.

The vast majority of us don't want to see anything to do with the club fail. But the only thing SISU will take note of is their income from our club. This seems to be our only voice. And anyone that tries anything else gets called an idiot or worse by a few of our own fans.

Or should we just sit back and take on the chin whatever they do to us fans?

Is it open properly from now or was it an advance opening? I might have a squizz on Sunday. Outwith all the obvious mess and shit going on, the location of this is a dream. The club shop at the Ricoh seemed more isolated and you had to do that lap of the ground with the horrible speed bumps to get away. Fucking speed bumps.

I'd say a hell of a lot worse to that malignant, selfish, evil, destructive, patronising, twisted fuckwit. I really do find it incredible that any of our fans shook his hand, RFC aside.

Yes, I did think it was odd that people were asking for his autograph last night. Each to their own though.

Getting desperate now. People had arms full of stuff. As I said the queues were massive. Why the need to state the opening of the shop wasn't a success? Were you there?

Ahhh!! Benny Hill my favourite.

Its Ironic with all the crap he took from the feminists who labelled him a pervert and forcing his show off the air though the ladies actresses who worked for him have all vouched that he was a pure gentlemen is a crime considering in the same era the whiter than white Sir Jimmy Saville , Stuart Hall and the rest were the true pervs!!

Don't see anyone in the media pointing that out. The great Benny Hill was treated like Sh*t by the media and the so called other fellow celebrities. You don't know what you missing till the are gone.

Got that off my chest!

I can't believe there was anywhere near as many people as that, no matter what evidence you provide!!! It's just a very clever camera angle! I bet if you pointed the camera in the opposite direction the place was empty!

I can't wait until the police reveal the official attendance!!! LOL!!!

Just went to the new superstore, great location. Disappointed with what they have got in there, not much stock. I wanted a sticker for my van they said they dont sell and stickers for cars/vans or the mini replica kits they used to.

Did I say the opening was not a success??? ... Look it's normal, whenever a new store is opened, out of curiosity people will go and see what the new place looks like, others would purchase many items while they are there (remember Xmas around the corner) , some will just browse. That's Psychology for you. Just because there were large numbers of people there, that does not reflect how well the store will do in the next 12 months time. Most likely it would be no different than the CCFC official shop that were in West Orchard and at the Ricoh Arena, which as I recollect were always virtually empty on Saturdays.

I personally think this superstore is a waste of money while we sit in league one or maybe Championship next season and to top that a massive divide with the owners and its customers . Its all an expensive gimmick and a gamble, though I hope I am wrong and it is a success but I can't see it.

So no it is not desperation, its what I see happening hence why the new superstore does not excited me as yet.

On a positive note, it's showing maybe SISU are showing signs of having ambitions for the club by opening this superstore, but I won't hold my breath on it regarding the Ricoh or a new stadium.
