CEO spoke sense...

Chairman looked like a rabbit in the headlights. Quite clearly RR played a blinder by not turning up, and leaving the "player" conversations to the new guy..

To cut a long story short, as we all knew anyway, Westwood, King and Gunnar are off...

"potential investors are interested in brick and mortar, not a new right back or left back"

says it all really...

Division One beckons, if not this season, then next season surely..

Thats a brilliant quote IMO and just about sums up the position we're in with these people!

Cold blooded money people. I guess the stadium is still worth the same if we are in the Conference...

reporter, think it was vinny O'Connor said "what message do you have to the fans who are worried about investment in the team and in particular Kieran Westwood"

"Kieran is a top player destined for the top, it looks like a premier league team will take him and we cant stop him going, rather like another one or two who are also out of contract in the summer"

IF they go they go, Westwood is nearly 27 so to be fair he needs to take the next step, King was only going to stay here for the season and will end up abroad, Gunnarson the most over rated player i think has played for the club since we were relegated!

Get a whole new setup on and off the field is what i expect to see with a new manager installed sooner rather than later!

I would like to see us replace Westwood with Lonegan! Cant get into the Preston team at the minute, and is a top Championship keeper (equal to Westwood IMO as hes no better).

As for King, I think depending on who comes in as manager, he wont be missed. He hasnt suited the wayy we have played this season, and was too close too AB to want to commit to the club. Gunner is replaceable! And some other team can try and make use of long throws!!

Cant imagine Osbourne being one of these "two or three out of contract" players!

I think Westwood could be replaced to a point, at least to the degree that we wouldnt be getting thumped every game.
King however I think would be a big loss. He is a striker who has premiership interest, when was the last time we had that? Not since Robbie Keane probably. We need to do what we can to get him for another season IMO. We havent seen how he fits into this new Thorn system yet, he could bag a hat trick against Watford!

Mfsud was linked with Reading when they were in the Prem. I think Best was linked with a few lower-Prem teams before he went to Newcastle.

Have to agree they only want the Ricoh and don't give flying fuck about 'our' club. It was just a load of spin

Lonegan was be great replacement, class keeper, may be even better than Westy who by the way I wish all the luck in the world. The club screwed him IMO, now they are left with egg on their faces

Investment in the stadium may lead to further investment on the field; if SISU are generating income from the stadium less will need to be pumped in to keep us afloat and perhaps some of that money could be switched the the transfer budget.
