To buy a ticket for Saturday.

Someone I know is in Coventry Saturday and asked if I could get them a ticket.

I wasn't even aware the shop was open until 8 but it is on Thursday and it took a grand total of two minutes to purchase.

Even had a confirmation e mail by the time I got back to my car.

Good stuff.

Ha ha. Very simple purchase - staff were friendly - got the nearest seat to me. No problem at all.

I think with many of our fans it is a simple purchase.

I saw Saxon at the Tic Toc about 24years ago as an 18year old. My brother tells me they're still touring.

I like Saxon, too. I think that 'Wheels of Steel' is one of the best rock tracks ever recorded.

I'm not into the rock thing or anything (apart from Lizzy) but I do love 747 (Stangers In The Night). It is a classic. Wheels Of Steel was good too.

I used to be mad on Thunder back in the day. Saw them loads of times in their early days. Their first two albums are excellent.

Oh, and buying tickets to City games is always easy as well.

I've been a rock fan since the 70's and been fortunate enough to have seen many great bands in concert.I've also kept hold of around 100 vinyl albums and recently was on the verge of selling some but the sale fell through,so I'm keeping hold of them and my youngest son who has played drums in a couple of bands and likes rock too, may want them in the future,as vinyl is back as strong as it once was.The one band I want to see though is Saxon who have been around for years but who I somehow missed, and you're right Wheels of Steel is brilliant and I had that played last week on Planet Rock on the listeners request show.

I don't mind paying that extra £2 for the convenience of paying cash on the gate, and the past 2 games that i've done so they've gave me block 17 anyway so it's been a bonus.

If you arrive for 2pm you're straight in and off to the expensive bar you go, anytime after that is when the que's begin to grow.

Good information there as the last home game I queued up to pay on the turnstile missed the first ten minutes and got a seat in the corner.I never knew if you got there early you got the block you wanted,I thought it was take what your given. Two lads in front of me tried to pay by credit card but it does say cash only !
