Hear from a US contact that Netflix are going to get involved in next round of bidding for football broadcast rights
Apparently they want to show all four divisions live
Could be interesting

The streaming giants are going to keep the gravy train going aren’t they? No end in sight for silly money in football.

They've taken jumanji welcome to the jungle off last week before I got round to watching it. Fuming

No I think the present deal has a season or two to run
But there was a fear that the next round would see the prices for the various packages fall
The last time saw lower prices for some of the UK packages which was made up by an increase in overseas rights income
It was thought the International rights would fetch less next time due to Saudi pirating of BeIn Sports broadcasts in the region

If Netflix took the BBC's rights to show football, 100% guarantee they'd sign up Gary Lineker to front it

If you watch Titanic backwards, it is a heart-warming tale of a ship which jumps out of the water & saves lots of drowning people.

Don't actually have anything against him but he is pretty sanctimonious
And there where stories of his womanising back in the days when he was putting himself forward as the perfect husband and father
I preferred Des Lynham :angelic:

I used to like him as a player, grounded and honest. But since he has become this media person, his persona and largely his opinions have become irratating.
