I haven't been on this site for a while because quite frankly it is a deeply unpleasant experience. It shows Coventry people in a very poor light - bigotted, opinionated, aggressive, offensive.

I find it a bit disturbing that people identify with the club more than with the city. Is that an apt demonstration that Football is tribal?
Pity that those running it don't give a second thought to the supporters then.

I've been out for hours having dinner with the family and return to find that creepy word twisting prick Grendel has spent all evening defending an anonymous bunch of money sharks who have made our club the subject of continual ridicule for over 3 years now. Obsessed lunatic springs to mind !

Maybe it's an age thing but I've never understood the anonymity on forums. If you've got something to say why hide who your are? Grendel, you [ie Ashdown] or anyone else on here could be my next door neighbour, someone I work with, a wind up merchant, a bored kid or someone with inside knowledge of what's going on. There's even been mentions of people on here being from acl-sisu so who knows who or what anyone is?

I can assure you I am not Ashdown's neighbour. The local Salvation Army Hostel is miles away.

I find it amusing that no one knows who anyone else is, or what they actually do.

Especially when someone mis judges someone else and makes a patronising comment towards them. Then it becomes very clear, very quickly that the other person knows a shit load more than them on that particular topic.
