No I don't agree with that personally.

I think the fact ACL are having to push discussions into the public domain.
When they originally were professionally quite about everything. Tells me they are at their wits end with SISU saying one thing and doing another. To the extent ACL are just putting it all out there now so we all know the truth.

Why agree the deal then change your mind when it comes to putting own to paper.

I prefer to put myself behind the honest straight forward people. My gut feeling tells me that us ACL not JS or TF.

So I am not going to unite.

What do you think about Neil saying the sacking if Thorn was too early?

Coventry City Council owe nothing to SISU. They have a duty to protect the interests of its residents and the Sky Blues come second in any degree of responsibility. SISU have not managed the club effectively since the took the batton off the previous owners. Why should they be bailed out? For heavens sake that is their expertise isn't it? They should get out immediately in my opinion.

I’m not ignoring your question as I didn’t know you’d asked me one. You should have started a new thread demanding an answer as you have done in the past.

Where do I see us going with SISU? Hopefully into the Championship and beyond. Maybe still at the Ricoh, but I personally wouldn’t mind moving somewhere else as the Ricoh isn’t “home” for me. It’s like we’re sleeping on a mates’ sofa until we can afford to buy our own place.

The squad has improved greatly since the summer, which has been proven by results on the pitch. A semi-final appearance, record away wins; going from relegation fodder to play-off hopefuls in five months. Let me ask you a question here. Count how many players we’ve signed since the summer both on permanent s and loans. That and the three-year deal given to Mark Robins show a great deal of intent from SISU for me. OK, those players may be freebies, but that doesn’t matter for me. A good player is a good player. The contract given to Robins is also mightily significant in times where short term deals (Dyche) and rolling contacts (Robins at HT) seem to be the norm. The fact they employed the best manager for decades is also a great testament to the fact that they DO know what they are doing.

Rent? I’ve said many times that I think SISU should at least make the gesture of paying some of the money we owe. The goodwill shown would smooth on-going talks, I’m sure. However, they have decided not to, which is fine by me as I’m a fan, not someone who knows how to run a football club. I want what’s best for my football club and if that means playing hard ball then so be it. We need to tap into those income streams to move forward. As you are aware ACL/CCC have said that hell will freeze over before we are given access to those. That leaves the football club with very little choice. That is one of the reason Robins moved on.
Which brings me on nicely to the stadium issue. At the moment the Club is dying, we all know that. Only ACL and the Council seem to be making money and ACL can only do that because the Council have kindly paid off their debts. You might be happy that all the revenue you and I pay when we buy a coffee or a hot dog or whatever goes to someone not connected with Club. I’m not. I want US to have it.

If those income streams WON’T (that’s important, won’t not can’t) be shared then maybe the only choice will be a new stadium somewhere else. A smaller fit-for-purpose venue for Coventry City would be ideal. At the moment we are shoehorned in to a stadium too large and too expensive for a club of our size with our income and with our crowds.

Now let me ask you a question or two. Do you think the rent we pay is fair? You’ve said many times you want SISU gone. If that happens what will happen to the Club. Who will take us over? Or are you in the Cloughie/MMM/CJ/Ash camp of not caring as long as SISU get out of here?

Let me be clear on my position. I am on the side of the Club in the rent argument, not the side of ACL or the Council. Sure, I believe SISU are making it hard for themselves by being inflexible, but I am more unimpressed by ACL, their charging structures and their lack of professionalism in the whole business. At the end of the day like it or not SISU are Coventry City. ACL are not. Regardless of whether Jackie Whatever says “we want Sky Blues here”, the reality is ACL don’t care as long as they get their cash. The only problem for them is the green bit in the middle of their cash cow.

I don't know if there is nobody else you don't know and neither do I.

I am in the camp SISU are here and I will criticise them and not back them when they behave poorly.

I will support Coventry City but criticise SISU over their behaviour.

With the rent you do need a compromise I get the distinct impression SISU have not provided one and are very rigid.

I think by trying to get ACL closed down they have created a great deal of mis trust.

I am also concerned why did they agree a deal then pull out.

I like the idea someone else suggested of an independent negotiator now.

Maybe that way we would know once and for all whether SISU genuinely want to sign a deal.

At the moment they are living rent free in my opinion hoping to get promotion then use some of the extra revenue to clear what they can't afford to pay.

the fact they have to resort to such tactics shows how unfair the council are.

Just to clarify, didn't ACL offer SISU the chance to pay the legally outstanding backlog of £1 million or so over 10 years.............

Where is your source for this, I would like to hear what he said myself as on past evidence I don't believe that your intepretation of his words would be unbiased and accurate.

I don't remember Neil Moxey being praised in the past...David Conn, maybe. Either way, if he's the one I think he is, I don't care for his opinions in general-and just look at the rag he writes for!

Youmust all remember the ACL/Council stance is an all party decision, not political or Muttons but all parties 100% we have to ask why ?

And i cant understand why some fans support a Mayfair based Hedge Fund who's management ineptitude got us relegated, over ACL (their local council and a local charity).

I get cross when I read comments as the one above..It's as if fans of CCFC aren't residents of Coventry...most of us are...we pay our council tax, and I want the Council to help my club...I also think Mr Mutton is mischief making...by releasing the statement when he did. A hell of a coincidence to come out just as Robins walked... It is pretty obvious to anyone with half a brain cell what he is trying to do... Both sides are as bad as each other...but this mischief making helps no one....

Who gives to the charity is irrelevant. Who benefits from it is. It was established to serve the disadvantaged kids from Coventry and district. It's done plenty of good, including places like the Alan Higgs Centre on Allard Way.

Rephrase your question, how many on here have benefitted from the charity - wither directly or via kids, and I think the answer will be in the hundreds.

So if you're trying to say there's moral parity amongst all parties; I don't think so
