I hope things are still looking up and although your not religious I'm not either but have added some pictures of the 'dark forces' routing for you. Its my 20 dollar Aztec god of health and £60 Buddha bought from the range after a trip to Thailand. It hopefully raise's a smile in the not to distant future.Sorry for just giving a "like" on posts. I just want you all to know I've read them all. Everyone has posted smashing replies and I would be ages replying to each individual post. But genuine love to you all and thank you all so very much for all the tremendous support. x x x

You've got plenty more important things to do than replying to every single post!Sorry for just giving a "like" on posts. I just want you all to know I've read them all. Wife is now back home, although very unsteady on her legs and her mental capacity seems to have gotten worse. Ah well, at least I can keep my eye on her. Thank you all for your kind messages of support. X
Her mental health has deteriorated quitte badly since her stroke 3½ years ago. Sometimes not even knowing who I am. Just now, driving home, she asked where we were going and when I said "home", she asked "Will Baz be there?".I'm really pleased that's she's back home with you.
She has been very ill, although thankfully now on the road to recovery, so it is perhaps unsurprising that she is unsteady on her legs. I hope that her mental capacity will improve as she starts to feel better.
I feel for you mate, it's a horrible thing to go through. Occasionally my Dad will sound like he's making some sense and then you'll get some comment like 'tell David to visit when you see him', no idea who he thinks I am.Her mental health has deteriorated quitte badly since her stroke 3½ years ago. I'm Baz, her husband.
Even on her hospital discharge notes, they've put that on her arrival to the ward the other day, she asked a nurse what airport this was and where are we going?I feel for you mate, it's a horrible thing to go through. I've told her of the love and support from you all.Good news give her a big hug from all of us

I’m sorry to hear that, it must be very difficult for you.
I hope she is receiving the medical care she deserves, which can hopefully slow the rate of decline if nothing else.
At least she is home with you now, which must be the best thing for both of you.

Thanks SBD. Her mental state seems to be on the decline sadly. She talks absolute gibberish at times. We live in a small, one bedroom bungalow, but she still thinks we have an upstairs area. She asks me which way is the bathroom. We've lived here nearly 6 years. She was put on Apiprazole, which is supposed to help with her mental state, but doesn't seem to be doing a lot of good. Thankfully, we had an emergency system installed, so if I need help to get her up off the floor, I can press a button and they will send someone round ASAP.Sorry to bump just wondered how the boss was getting on
More power to you mate and all the best to the good ladyThanks SBD. Her mental state seems to be on the decline sadly. She talks absolute gibberish at times. I could fill pages of stuff she does, but it would take up too much time!
Thank you for concern. It's very much appreciated. Regards, Baz.
Lovely words Mcbean. Thank you.HH - Whatever she says or does her character and her love for you is in there just hiding behind a door that will open every now and again - thoughts are with you and your wife - hopefully the door gets stuck open

I've really been overwhelmed by the love and support from you lads on here. It's made me feel very humble. I just wanted to reach out for a bit of moral support and by God, you've all come up trumps. I'm still struggling with her mental state, in fact literally 10 minutes ago, she got up off the settee and said, "Which way is it to my part of the house?". I led her to the bedroom and put her to bed. It's so sad to think that she spent 32 years as a legal secretary to top barristers and appeared in court to take down records of really serious and tragic cases, many of which she bought home to complete. She then worked for the Land Registry before moving to the job centre before retiring. Her shorthand and typing were an amazing speed, yet now, she can barely use her phone to tap out numbers etc.Just spotted this thread. Youve both been through the mill, bless you. Fingers crossed that Mrs 'H' can make as full a recovery as possible - thinking of you both. Much love - enjoyed reading your posts about the I.O.W. and glad you've received the support of the health services and the SBA on here.
Hi SB.Hi, just checking in to see how you are doing @Joe King. I hope you have managed to have a nice Christmas Day.
A good win tomorrow against Swansea will doubtless help to lift your spirits a bit.
Hi Mcbean. Only just read this. ( not always lurking on here!). Still no change. Her sleep pattern is still awful. She's awake half the night, then wanders around the bungalow. She had a sleep yesterday evening till about 7pm, then got up and started to sort clothes out. I asked what she was doing and she said "getting my things ready for the wedding"! She didn't have a clue who's wedding she was thinking of, but I assured her that we weren't going to any wedding!@Joe King how are you getting on - I am
Hoping you have a few things sorted to make it easier - guys in here have some knowlege I think about support just need to ask and someone will Come up with a direction ( not much about footballbut hey ho )
Good luck, Baz. I know how tough it can be.Hi Mcbean. Only just read this. ( not always lurking on here!). Still no change. Her sleep pattern is still awful. She's off to day care in a bit, which gives me a break for the day.
Thanks for your concern and of course, everyone else who has supported me.
Regards, Baz.
