Just realised that our account has been drained of over 16000 by some fecker in the High Wycombe!

Did some digging and it seems like people's accounts are being packaged and flogged online, loads of people effected but there has been no press about the breach.

Might be worth checking if you have an account and maybe updating passwords just in case

You're like the 3rd person I know of this has happened too.

Contact nectar and you will get your points back.

Yeah happened last week but I didn't clock it until today thought the wife had cashed them in but another batch went through and saw it was High Wycombe area .

Really dodgy that Sainsbury's/Nectar haven't made a statement as once I'd googled it it seems to be a huge issue. Must be a data breach which could be bad for anyone who re-uses passwords.

Will report it on Monday as I've missed office hours. I've sent a message on twitter already.

I think not informing those subject to the breach is in itself a breach of the DPA

We find evidence of secret groups trading YOUR Nectar points

Looking into it it’s not a data breach. Just really shitty system design. All you need to spend someone’s Nectar points is their barcode. Lots of people online saying they got refunds calling Nectar.
