3pm Sun 5/6/22. (On BTSport 1 or your favourite streaming channel )

Grimsby Town vs Solihull Moors.

Winner is promoted to League 2. And should they win, this would be the first time Solihull have been in the top 4 leagues ever.

Ex-Coventry news.... Maguire-Drew is on the bench for Grimsby.

I would like Solihull to win, my work colleague is best mates with Callum Maycock’s old man.

I don’t really mind who wins, Grimsby seemed a decent a loyal bunch when we played them in League 2 and on the other hand would be nice to see a smaller local side get into the League

The coach at Solihull James Quinn is a Coventry lad who I used play in the same side as.

Both these sides look good enough for League 2, about time one more relegation spot was made

The level between the national league and league two isn’t that different and the pay is probably around the same.

I remember Coleman at Accrington saying that the income difference between L1 and L2 wasn't much but there was a big difference between L2 and National league.

Income might be different but the unregulated expenditure allowed on the NL offsets it I think

Been quite an open half. Both Solihull and Grimsby have had their chances. 2 possible pens turned down for Grimsby.

Looking forward to the second half and still hoping for Solihull to get a result.

They wanted him to replace Aguero, Celtic were also interested.

Nah, it was put out by his agent profiting on this “Britains tallest footballer”, I don’t think he’s been played that many games for Solihull this year

I was obviously bullshitting about the Aguero bit, but they did send a scout to watch him and Celtic sent Andy Thorne.
