Rumoured to be interested in him according to Football Rumours.

He played 80 games for Robins when Robins was at Barnsley. Plays centre of midfield, but also apparently can play right mid and right back.

Someone on GMK saying that a Barnsley fan said MR would definitely go for Doyle when MR first took over.

Do we really need another midfielder? I think we just need get Bailey, Moussa and Clarke signed and that'll be good going.

Not saying we do. Just that there is a rumour and obviously Robins rated him while he was at Barnsley. There he made 87 appearances in just 2 years, so was a mainstay of their side.

We only have to lose rod to do that ,or mortgage the training ground ,something they'e been willing to do twice before.:thinking about:
