Never heard of him. Like the word "striker" though.

Him and Wilson would be the quickest strike force in England.

Delfouneso's career hasn't moved in about 4 years. He was very highly rated as youngster. These players need games. That is the one thing we can offer players from the Premier League at the minute is they are more or less guaranteed a start in a team creating chances. Jordan Bowery went there a couple of years ago and has barely kicked a ball. Always amazes me that we don't link up better with the Villa for loan players.

I'd be happy with this if it came off. Although right now I'd be happy with a striker who is old enough to shave and unlikely to play injured to get out of games, so I've set the bar low.

Again, I had him on FIFA and football manager and he became a household legend at uni! We used to look out for him and follow him online and he has bags of potential!! really excited about this!

Will obviously be a loan signing (guessing everyone knows that). Could do a good job for us though. Would be amazing if we get him in he'd boss it

Seems his contract is up in June 2014, so he will be available on a free transfer thereafter.
Suppose that means he can sign a pre-contract now ?
According to villa fans tho, he's on big money, so that's us out

I doubt SISU will use the Leon Clarke money to buy players, it will be used to cover their losses thus loans are going to be the only way to do business or 1 in 1 out as long as the 1 in is a free agent. We are not going to get promoted this season and given SP's philosophy, surely its time to blood some more youngsters or look at young league 2 players?

I have it on very good authority, Marc Albrighton almost came here on loan but villa wanted him playing championship level so he went to Wigan.

The season ends in May, if he is out of contract in June then looks like he'll be a permanent if he does the job.
