Was gemerally shocking tonight but we kept a clean sheet, funny old game.

Though Jordan clarke did well when he came on

Bailey and jenning are too light weight and don't have the legs to play as a 2 in the middle

Mcsheffrey needs a rest, had a mare.

Agree with every point. Bailey was like Sammy Clingan tonight to Jennings' Michael Doyle.

Jennings was and has been shite. Midfield were poor. Cameron just needs some game time I think. Fleck brightened up the game when he started dragging the midfield into action.
On that basis, I'd go for Fleck instead of Jennings.

Midfield were very disappointing. I still fear when Cameron has the ball at his feet and even tonight, i feared when it was in the area heading in his direction.

That said hes played 2, helping us get 2 clean sheets so we haven't really got an argument against him playing!

Clarke (J) looked decent when he came on although it was slightly confusing as to where he has been instructed to play for most of his time on the pitch

The pitch made it awkward for defenders and it is very hard to play on those types of pitches

Thomas in for Jennings.

Fleck in for McSheffrey.

-----------------Murphy-----------------
Christie--Cameron--Wood--Dickinson
Baker-----Bailey----Thomas-----Fleck
------------Elliot------Clarke------------

Obviously some people think Fleck isn't suited on the left and I do agree a little but I just want Macca off.

He needs a bloody wake up call!!

Not really fair to pick out individuals as most of them were terrible tonight. Midfield won nothing in the middle and Macca and Baker were woeful. In their defence we were missing them out most of the time with hoofball.

Id agree with that.

Baker, Jennings, Bailey, SHOCKING last night.
Macca....words cannot describe his performance last night!!

Cameron looks the most awkward defender when heading the ball, it almost looks like it pains him and he NEVER gets distance on his headers, its just a big head with loads of height and very little distance. That said at least he wins his headers unlike the Edj.

City better players on the night were defo Leon and Jordan Clarke. Leon won 90% of his headers and tackles, just a shame the other players around him seemed to be 10 minutes to slow.

Jordan has done well for me since being dropped and looked at ease when at centre-half which seems strange to say, so fair play to him.

Cameron is one of these players who takes time to settle. Jordan Clarke is another.

Cameron usually needs 4 or 5 games under his belt before he gets in his stride and starts playing well.

Can we afford that though with vital games coming up?

Why does that not make sense ????

It was a bad pitch and was difficult to play on..

Makes perfect sense to me

The pitch last night was no worse than the one we're currently playing on at the Ricoh...

Cameron, whilst dodgy at times and looked nervous got better as the game went on I thought.

Jordan Clarke came on and did well. He's done well when he's slotted in at CB (think he played there in pre-season?).

How many games have we won at home since we started having a bad pitch there? It's a genuine concern, we can't play well on pitches that aren't in a good condition.

Agreed. Our home pitch is shocking. The pitch last night was in better condition than that of the one at the Ricoh without a doubt, so it should have seen better football from our players.
