Can't afford any injuries at the back now, any chance of recalling Mcpake as cover?

We have to get mcpake back, can't risk 6 games with 5 fit defenders

Hussey isn't fit. Needs an op so is playing through the pain barrier.

We have Cranie, Keogh, Christie, Thomas and then Hussey and Jordan Willis.

What the hell has happened to Richard Wood? Seems to have been out for an age now. Wasn't that serious was it when it was first touted?

Would bring back McPake even if it's just to sit on the bench and provide cover.

Cant see us recalling McPake - his and ROD's loan deals will be freeing up the wages used to bring in nimely and Norwood.

I think we got Nimley and Norwood on Jukes wages only wot I read, but it wouldn't surprise me if there respective clubs were paying there wages.

I think jukes paid for nimely and Herman, McPake's and ROD has probably paid for Norwood judging by this article.

Could have sworn I listed Clarke. Just noticed though I did indeed put Thomas down by mistake. Meant Clarke. Just that they look alike and could be brothers!

6 defenders then. Clarke, Keogh, Cranie, Hussey, Christie and Willis.

We've since saved something on Freddies wages and the increased crowds and income from the last 3-4 home matches is possibly approaching £80 -100 k ,so it should be within remitt to pay his wages for six games ,or file the ffefing accounts and get a couple in when the prize is £4m.

We can surely as Wingy says plunge just a little bit more into the red to try and safeguard our future can't we!

One defender now gets injured and another one suspended for 3 games through a sending off and we are in deep, deep shite!!

Bring McPake back unless Wood is going to be back fit.

I think Southend are only paying 10% of Freddie's wages. However, they probably should recall McPake but they haven't exactly shown any intent in the transfer market this season. Promises of loan players in the first half of the season an we got Gardner for 4 games.

Yea we are talking about recalling Mcpake from his loan at Hibs and people are pointing out the club won't want to bring him back and pay his wages for the remainder of the season.
