Gmk still going on about the negative fans that aren't going to six fields. Hadn't realised the reason CCfc had failed for so many years was due to not identifying the most super 1500 fans to play in front of!!! Really nagging me

There is some truth in that, our fans are quick to get on players backs, target a boo boy, and are pretty negative if there's a lull in the game.

Never said it was, just stands to reason that less fans mean less moany fans, and the moaning is like a ripple effect through the crowd.

I had a group of 3 directly behind me at the Ricoh that spent all game slagging players off, shouting abuse at them, and 1 in front that shouted 'get it forward' every time we passed it sideways, followed by "your f!?!@&g useless' if someone misplaced a forward pass.

That tension builds up through the crowd. Not saying that some of those boycotting aren't positive. I've not been this season and I'm pretty positive during games, just moan after the final whistle.

To be fair there hasn't been much to ever be positive about at the ricoh since we've been there . apparently the football we're playing now is the best we've ever played...I'll have to take other people's word on that.if we are playing this amazing football I can't see how there would be a negative atmosphere at the ricoh if anything it would be the opposite.

There was a little frustration around me at the sideways passing today. Not sure why.

ill be honest it does upset me a bit when the fans that go to sixfields are labelled as the true cov fans. fair play to them for going but for me i just cant do it. it breaks my heart not to go and watch us any more. i take my three children with me and they are always in their new kits but i just cant do it. if we all go there like we did at the ricoh nothing positive would come of it. hopefully by staying away en masse will force a positive return to our great city and stadium. sorry about the rant

Yeah, that annoyed me, because despite not firing on all cylinders we were still creating chances for fun against a team that parked the bus.

Nightmare mate, I had 8 good lads out for that day. We got about an hours play and we were about 6 pints to the good by then so we dropped back into Broad St for a few more as you do before the last train home to bandit country !!

All are true Sky Blue supporters whether you go to Sixfields or not IMHO!
It's about opinions and if you choose not to go, that's your decision.

Iv'e attended all the home games so far and would encourage those who haven't been to 'turn-up' and enjoy something very, very special that often only occurs 'once in a lifetime'.

I haven't felt so happy and positive for 15 to 20 years and SP & ALL his staff deserve a great deal of credit along with our wonderful youthful squad, well done and bring on Brentford 28th September PUSB,

See you all there, I hope?

Is there such thing as a super supporter?? If you go home and away, I tip my hat to you but in these times I respect any city fan who is either going or not as that is their choice. What I don't like is that fact that you get called scum, scabs etc for attending!

So what are you implying stu? Less fans is better for the team? For years it has been said the team needs the fans behind them, yet they have had consistently the lowest crowds for best part of a century and seem to be playing the best football!

Does this mean we have to stay away to get the best out of the players? Is this your argument?

I don't think he has any idea, try and ignore the dross he posts, winds me up spouting crap about attending all the "home games" does this twat not understand why we are not attending ? Spineless and selfish describes RFC and the other lemmings who try to justify their stance.

we are all super supporters, by varying degrees,
till we lose, when we're down on our knees,
then hope springs eternal when we win again,
all but for the troll of a certain refrain,
(just for grendel),
PUSB

Pam, personally I think your epic "I wished I'd looked after my teeth" was better -- your past it.

I went to shrewsbury and Carl Baker praised the fans at shrewsbury so I am going to port vale to be with the biggest sky blue following this season. Someone has said tonight that he has not praised the ***** at sixfields.I am only reporting what a supporter told me tonight.

Fans are the same all over, I went to a Manchester United match about 8 years ago courtesy of a couple of free tickets and sat by two Mancs who spent the entire match bawling and shouting torrents of abuse to Ryan Giggs. That's football supporters for you.
