Dennis Wise has never done anything as a manager on his own , all his success came with Poyet

Not at all... Gordan has unfinshed buisness here and dennis wise has the passion and deserves a crack at it and is also looking to get back into managment.

You know it's funny. The other day I mentioned Roland Nillson and Eric Black as possible candidates if Thorn were to be sacked and I was told to stop living in the past.

Now it seems more people want people like them back. It's amazing how Thorn leaving us has got people putting their support in for past managers.

Gordon killed us last time round, how many players did he sign then never play! Zuniga comes to mind!

Never look back, we need new broom, new ideas and a new direction which has to be upwards.

I personally would have Strach back. However, as this forum has proved the last few months we need someone who will drag the squad and fan base back together. A new man with promise and 'general' appeal. Not love or hate like Strach, Blackwell, etc. who though...I dunno!

This is why I say Redknapp. He has done well in the game. He don't ever need to work again. He is a winner. He could be brought back into the game by us giving him a share in our club. Hardly worth anything at the moment, but with the chance of making a lot of money if he is a success. He has made a lot of money away from football as well as whilst managing teams to success. This makes me think he could take a gamble with us.

The main problem I would see is he don't suffer fools gladly. Has been known to resign when the chairman does his head in.

Strachan is a big no for me i didnt rate him at all last time. Rednapp and Curbs are far to unrealistic as well i think maybe Dennis wise would be a good shoput although he has not got a great record. it is really hard to attract someone at this point. i still find it strange that they back thorn by letting hom bring in so many players then sack him although after sat i would have sacked him.

Wise would be a good option, but he is not a yes man and would not work out with SISU Scum, we could not afford him either.
Strachan, hope your joking, still stupid jock, what has he ever done?

If you didn't need the money but enjoy your line of work would you accept a challenge where you would be adored by so many?

Not saying it will happen, but we could offer him what other clubs can't. SISU are looking for investment. Redknapp could be offered say 10% of our club. This would cost us nothing. He is a rich man. He could invest a little into our club. Who would bet against him getting us into the Prem in two seasons?

SISU need to do something quick that is cheap. Anyone got a better idea on how to improve us as cheaply and as much as this would? Getting us into the Prem would give them a chance of making a good profit and getting out of our club. This would make everyone happy.

Definately not Dennis Wise. Would be open to Strach coming back but don't think he would. It tends not to workout second time around in any case.

I'm at a loss with the Strachan idea. He seemed a nice enough bloke & was amusing. Let us remember though who managed us into the Championship...& then to the bottom end of it?
Wherever he went he had a motivational impact initially, spent unwisely in the main & left there in relative disarray from what I remember.

I like your way if thinking but this is the man who was favourite for the England job, who turned Spurs into one of the top teams in the country and has never hid the fact that he doesn't want to leave the South Coast.

Not a chance in the world, in my opinion, he would even consider us. We need to be setting our sights a lot, lot lower.

I am not saying he would, but we do have an airport. He could fly to us quicker than drive to Tottenham.

To me it depends on how much he wants to get back into football, how much he fancies a challenge and also would SISU want a no man instead of a yes man if he was interested.

If the dream came true and he did invest and manage our club wouldn't that cause a conflict of issues later on when he left? I mean look what happened the Hoffman's bid back in 2011. It fell through because one of the main investors was Sam Allydice and he was managing West Ham at the time who were in the championship with us.

If we got back to the Prem with Redknapps help and he then left and managed another Prem club, would he still be able to own his stake in the club or would he have to sell it so as not to cause issues etc.

I just think he'd have a lot more attractive options than taking over a skint Midlands club in League 1.

CHRIS HUGHTON! the choice is easy, he will be sacked soon, until then let shaw/ carsley do the job and "get experience" if they make it work great, if not so be it!
