Can't find you the goal so if you've forgotten it, you'll have to take my word for it

Ah - crossed wires....

I thought that you meant that you thought (Remember "Little does she know, that I know, that she knows....") that Tugday scored this season against Cardiff!

I remember that game. Finishing with a midfield of Fowler, Pead and Betts. Home grown stars that would provide our midfield for years to come.

What could possibly go wrong?

Tom Bates? Mark Noon? Avun Jephcott? Ben Mackey? Eddie Standford? Barry Quinn? David Pipe?

Shudder.

See, Pipe should have had a career, if he wasn't so violent.

Was fully behind the save Barry Quinn campaign too!

But Bates and co came later. The side early on wasn't too bad... then he dropped McSheffrey, shifted Bothroyd to the wing... and played Holdsworth up front by himself:facepalm:

Fowler should have gone on to great things if not for his liking of, well... things that made him fat and slow.

I told David Pipe to fuck off from outside the front of my house when I lived in Nottingham.

Parked on double yellows with his music at full blast nipping in the off licence.

Surprised he didn't hit you over the head with what he'd just bought in there.

Get several vastly experienced players who are coming to, or about to, coming to the end of their careers.. ie in the Dennis Wise mould.

There was a time when such players dropped down from Division 1 and 2 to the lower leagues but not so much any more. The elite players go overseas where they can earn a lot more money. Players earn so much more now during their careers, they don't need to drop down the leagues to eke out a living; they can just retire. It might be better to dredge L2 and the conference where there is probably a lot of developable talent hiding.

So if other teams in this league can afford them why can't we????

So I have been told on here many times we have one of the best budgets in this league!!! We made plenty of money with players going out but we have replaced players with sub standard players on loan on the cheap.....

When your hands are tied you get what you get.
It is alright Tim telling us we have money for players where is it?

More bullshit, defy any manager to do better next one will get the same shit speak the same shit get the same shit on here.
Until Sisu go we will just have to put up with this shit no matter who is in charge...
