Leeds fan here.

Having been out all day I've only just seen the news and I'm in disbelief. Brought back some bad memories from supporting my team a few years ago and I wouldn't wish this upon anyone, not even Man United. It's what every football fan fears, it's what we feared in 2007, and it's horrible to see you being put through it. It was pretty uncomfortable as it was seeing you go down to League One as you're bigger than that league.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Coventry, not sure why, maybe it's because when I first started supporting Leeds in the 90s you were a regular in the Premier League so I guess you have some strange nostalgic link to my childhood!

Anyway, hope you pull through this - the REAL City who play in sky blue, not them pretenders from Manchester!

Regards

No worries, everyone I've spoken to is shocked and upset by what is going on. When it comes down to it all, we're all football fans regardless of who we support and we all share a love for the sport, and this kind of thing shouldn't be happening to anyone. It's not what any of us signed up for when we chose to support our teams.

Thanks Leeds fan. How about your club and your future? Do you trust these GHF Capital? Are they buying back Elland Road for their best intentions or yours? Happy Bates has left the building?

I used to live in Driffield, East.Yorks. I have a soft rivalry with some of my Leeds mates up north

As a Leicester fan; I know how horrible administration is, but what you're going through must be a whole other level of shite.

There'll be some gloating from down the other end of the M69, but not from me or the majority of Leicester City fans. There but for the grace of God go us if not for serious investment.

I sincerely and genuinely wish you the best for the season ahead, even if your club doesn't survive in its current form.

You need only look at AFC Wimbledon to know that is not necessarily the end. A fan owned club like Wimbledon or Portsmouth may actually be the way forward for you.

Good luck for the season ahead.

You don't have to thank me - I'm only saying what every football fan is thinking! Classy from the Leicester fan coming on here too and showing support, I know you both have a bit of a rivalry so it shows how silly rivalry can be when a club is in trouble.

Incidentally, one of my favourite Leeds games in recent years was when we won 3-2 at the Ricoh, epic game and we brought a fair few fans, I remember being frustrated at how much you were fighting back and making that win so difficult for us!

Over the moon Bates has gone, not sure what to make of GFH so far as one day they seem to be skint, the next we're actually spending money for once! We've been spending more money than we usually do on transfers and we've made a few signings that look promising, but at the end of the day it's what Brian McDermott does with the team, and he has potential to do a bit.

We have fans from all over Yorkshire! It really annoys the likes of Hull, Barnsley, Wednesday, Sheffield United, Doncaster, Bradford, et al

Shame our friends from Wallsall can't seem to show any support, they intend to flood the FL with complaints as to why we havn't been expelled from the league.

It's supported the club unlike some of its so called fans that have almost begged the council "to bring it on". Hope your happy.
