Damn! Thought it was going to be a screenshot of your bank statement.A multitude of statements are bollocks, all set to just fire people up into finger pointing and angry shouting, whereas what we needed was a meeting like they had to do that, and hopefully more meetings in the future.
Who's next to release a statement? David Bell's chiropractor?
Waitrose is so bourgeois, only Grendel can afford it.Damn! Thought it was going to be a screenshot of your bank statement.
Wanted to see if that money came.in from.that rich Nigerian uncle and to see whether you shop at Home Bargains or Waitrose.
I think Grendel is more of a Fortnum & Mason guy than a Waitrose guy.Waitrose is so bourgeois, only Grendel can afford it.
IN the Masons more like.I think Grendel is more of a Fortnum & Mason guy than a Waitrose guy.
Can't argue with any of that ! It's the stalemate of stalemates !For all the supposed spin doctors & PR experts around you would think at some point someone could actually put out a statement that cuts through the crap, deals with the issues and provides balanced clarity. Instead they all concentrate on historical blame game based on selective "facts".
CCC - come over as rigid and uncaring, unforgiving. Repeatedly create amateur hour moments because they fail to think things through. They undoubtedly come over to many as biased towards Wasps. That perception is also encouraged by certain other parties though. Never do they accept any responsibility for moving things forward, uncompromising
Wasps - actually say very little but are inflexible. They stick to the drop the legals and we talk mantra. Away from the dispute their PR is quite slick and is subtle on occasion. Again no engagement really with the CCFC community
CCFC - has improved in the last year or 18 months, it used to be a real shambles. It is better thought out and with purpose. It is also clear they toe the party line with the owners (understandably). However it can be inconsistent with basic elements regularly changing.
Trust - Personally i think their statements should be shorter and to the point. It is not a time for the softly softly approach. If it upsets certain parties where relationships might have been formed then you have to question those relationships
SISU - Speak rarely and when they do they release as "factual statements" diatribes that you could if you chose to drive a coach and horses through to disprove in large chunks. Any statement is for a for a very specific purpose, lacks any form/detail of acceptance or contrition for any mistakes and usually designed for deflection. There is no real element of compromise
Media - are either agenda or clickbait driven. Frankly we have been badly let down by error strewn, biased, egotists. You cannot rely on any of the media
Solution - all just shut up with the PR and get it sorted in private meetings, then pat each other on the back for a job well done, before giving us the truth of what has been agreed. The history has been done to death and re written far too many times
Just my opinion
Agree with all this and would love for the solution to happen .......but fraid they are all too egotistical and to do any compromise of any sort without being seen to have "won"For all the supposed spin doctors & PR experts around you would think at some point someone could actually put out a statement that cuts through the crap, deals with the issues and provides balanced clarity. We hope to have an open letter that addresses the statements made in this statement by end of play

Oh, bloody hell, that's all we need, the flipping Russians involved.I think the collective is a Slagoff of Statements.
Which to be fair I think I happening. SISUs statement seems more conciliatory than usual.Exactly.
It doesn't even matter if they put out a bit of bullshit to save face as long as a result is found.
