Okay, there are still 3 maximum games before realistically it's possible, but I am feeling positive..

Let's put this into perspective a little though, left in the JPT ATM is:

Southern Area
- Bristol City
- Gillingham
- Leyton Orient
- CCFC

Northern Area
- Walsall
- Tranmere
- Doncaster/Notts County
- Oldham/Preston

Let's be honest, if we can avoid Bristol Shitty in the Semi-Finals I would take either Gills/Orient at home, I fancy our chances in that respect and amazingly would fancy our chances against Bristol in a two legged fixture..

Obviously I am getting ahead of myself, but hey why not?

I don't particularly like the look of the Northern Section, Preston, Oldham, Notts County, are all still in it, obviously one of Preston and Oldham has to go, ideally Doncaster will pick up a fluky result against Notts County in the process..

I know how I would like things to go:

Quarter Finals
Oldham vs Preston (Away Win)
Doncaster vs Notts County (Home win)

Semi Finals (North)
Warsaw vs Tranmere (Home win)
Doncaster vs Preston (Home win)

Semi Finals (South)
City vs Gills (Home Win)
Orient vs Bristol City (Away win)

Area Finals (North)
Doncaster vs Warsaw (Walsall win over two legs)

Area Finals (South)
Bristol City vs City (City win over two legs)

Grand Final
Cov vs Warsaw

We smash Warsaw 4-0 in the Final..

What about everyone else, I am sure most would like to avoid Bristol at this point?

Avoid Bristol City and it has to be a home tie. Our away record is terrible. Other than Bristol City and Preston, I don't fear any others left in the competition

Can't see us beating Preston or Bristol City, but besides that I think we have a bit of a chance.

We need Bristol City at home in the next round. In a one off game I would fancy us. Over two legs with the Wembley carrot dangling they'd turn us over.

Think in that scenario most teams would turn us over. We seem to freeze more often than not on the big occasions.

Agree, Bristol City at home in the next round would be better, could see us shipping 3-4 in an away leg at a sold out ashton gate, something I cant see us overturning at the Ricoh. Nick a draw in a one off game at home to them and enter the lottery of the penalty shootout.

Id fancy us over 2 legs against Gills and LO

We won't make it through the next round. Orient and Bristol City would both beat us and Gillingham would beat us if we get them at their place. Even if we do manage to get through Bristol City would destroy us over two legs, Gillingham could probably beat us by more at theirs than we could beat them at ours and again, I wouldn't feel confident against Orient.

I'd rather play Bristol City in a one-off game at home than in the Area Final. I think over two legs we'd have much more chance of beating Leyton Orient or Gillingham.

we drew 2-2 with orient away and should have won according to those who went(even if we did got the last min equaliser)

so why fear them now all of a sudden?

hope SP gets team winning soon, our fans need a change of mentality too.

They're better away than they are at home and as you said, it took a last minute goal for us to get anything out of the game. You can say that we should of won but we didn't, and that's a major problem with this side.
