As you say excellent support from the fans. It looks as though it was pretty much one way traffic but we could have had more success on the break if we hadn't already lost our confidence in front of goal. Winning 2-1 from two breakaways would have been entirely satisfactory - but could Wigan have moved up an extra gear if needed?

Good report.

Wigan are not a good team and the way we did not pick a team to exploit their weaknesses baffles me. TM seems insistent on playing his team no matter who we are playing. Is this arrogance or just plain one dimensional, simplistic thinking?

They are poor. Considering they are top and unbeaten in 20z
