Pete,

Thank you for your email.

In terms of stadium relocation, whilst The League has publically urged Otium and ACL to resolve the dispute, The League has no jurisdiction to force any Club (or landlord for that matter) to come to an arrangement over land or rental agreement. With no agreement in place to play at the Ricoh Arena, reluctantly, the Board of Directors approved the application to relocate on a temporary basis only. There are a number of stringent conditions in place regarding the temporary relocation. Failure to abide by these conditions and return to Coventry will result in cessation of the club's membership of The Football League.

The League is unable to provide further comment.

Thank you for contacting The Football League.

Subject: Coventry city football club

Whomever it may concern

What are the "stringent conditions in place regarding the temporary relocation of my club"?

If you had refused the ground share the owners would have been forced to make a commercial deal with the Ricoh Arena.

In recent replies to fellow fans the football league have stated that the acl were responsible for the 10 point deduction, is it normal for the football league to comment in this way?

Thank you

Pete Griffiths

Yep just have. Dispassionately the fl are doing what they feel they can to preserve our club. They are not doing a good job though!!!

not sure what you want them to do? We have to play somewhere, because SISU/ACL have fucked up the Ricoh. The league are assisting us in remaining in the league at this time. the only thing i see wong, is the Fit and Proper person test!! how the hell sisu can pass that is beyond me.

Why don't you just read what they've published previously?

Their original response seems reasonable to me.

I have read it, the unreasonableness of it is that they have allowed a situation to escalate.

That is the reason I said what I did about dispassionately the fl are doing what they can.

However the current scenario means our club will very soon disappear for good unless sisu sell

what is really concerning is their failure to grasp the most basic facts of the situation. at the time that the groundshare was approved there was a agreement in place to play a the Ricoh, it's just that SISU were choosing to ignore it!

they've transferred the share to a newco, why didn't they do the same as they did at Pompey and say they would only grant the share either to certain parties (those who would keep the club in Coventry) or with certain conditions (such as honoring the lease for the Ricoh)
