Come 3pm on the 10th of August Bakes will be leading the boys out at the Ricoh...Sick of people on here debating about where we will be playing this season, You're all mugs for listening to anything that comes from both the club and people like Gary Hoffman who are all talk and have proven it before...what will be will be we as fans sadly have little say in it

Think Timmy will need to be on his way for this to happen.

Based on a hunch or can you rationally argue how this will be made possible?

Why? How can a deal not be done when it is clearly in the best interests of all parties?

Well what's been clear for quite some time was the perceived threat to play elsewhere and build our own stadium. I at first thought it was more posturing than any real intention. I have come in recent weeks far more concerned that it is not posturing and as a business they have had to make other arrangements and move forward from uncertainty. Any business is going to do the same.

It's not in the interest of SISU to merely go back and have a similar lease like before. The stadium has to give up it's income streams to the football club long term or there is a sustainability issues. Now whether that means ACL/Council find a new proposal to keep the football club at the Ricoh and in turn keep sponsors like 'Ricoh' etc and a higher profile only they can answer that.
I'm sure if a deal that allowed SISU to purchase some stake in the Ricoh at the very least (I don't mean 50% shares of the Higgs Charity nonsense either) at a premium then I'm absolutely certain SISU would listen.
But they best be quick!

In one of the forums wasn't Dim suggesting that Bakes (though he didn't name him) would probably be off '' cos he won't sign a new contract'' - why ever not Dim?:(

Is it just me or is anyone else of the opinion that the FL must have had some assurance of "home", venue prior to including CCFC in the fixture list for next season?

We will still be in administration at the start of the season . There's no way all this will be sorted in 45 days and acl know it.Why do you think they've offered them to play there rent free.acl and ccc have still got a big say in what happens. This is far from over.if we're still in admin at the start of the season we can't groundshare can we ?

Hate SISU, but City must start at Ricoh - imagine trying to persuade any decent player to play on the equivalent of a farmyard at Walsall. And imagine the quality of the football on display (I know it wasn't great towards the end last year, but am hoping that was the SISU effect, rather than all down to SP)

SISU may not consider it in their best interests if they want the Ricoh....
