I suppose Norwood and Nimely were someone else's too. Let's not be stupid here - Thorn is the excellent scout.

Don't think that any loan players are scouted, more a case of, "Do you have anybody available for loan? Cheap? Could do with a striker and a midfielder"

"See what we can do"

Then they offer somebody.

And of course the club then just say yes without taking a look at them at all....
I swear some people have lost the plot around here.

Hope nobody looked at Sawyer before he came here on loan, otherwise would have to take back anything good ever said about Thorn as a scout.

Ward?

He was a bit crap, but luckily for us got injured.

Ranson was all excited about him because he had a super, super deal where we paid less the more he played or something.

Which is probably what attracted him.

That was an Aidy Bothroyd signing because I remember he compared him to Ashley Young!

Grendel you bore me shitless. Thorn has gone, drop having to give him a dig in every single post. We get it!
I really like Barton,I think he's struggling with fitness unsurprisingly. But I think once we have him and fleck working in tandem, we could create some really good chances.

It's second nature to him

I admit I hoped he would have stopped now but I don't reckon he has it in him to stop, his obsession is just weird and the fact he continues when he is no longer at the club just confirms that he has a vendetta against him. No doubt he will move on to another person to constantly criticise and snipe out at every post a few years down the line once he finally bores himself with his Thorn snipes

Not so. To confirm I only reply to factual innacuracies.

If I have a vendetta what do people have who post obscure quotes from someone born in Coventry who didnt sign for us to try and still support a sacked manager.

Or make comments about players living thorn. Are these comments above comment in your eyes.

Some people on here still criticise the manager before thorn. Why?

At least 70% of my posts are on non related issues to the manager - indeed I am perfectly happy to never mention him again - this thread was thrown off course not by me if you care to check - they never are.

It is maybe best to let people believe what they want to. Even now they won't believe the players signed were recommended by all three of them. (unless some turn out to be dreadful).

Nope, you were right, was under AB.

Didn't realise he's at Huddersfield now, signed for them at start of last season.

so approx 30% thats about 1300 posts on the subject more than i have posted on here in total in a longer period of time.

facts would suggest that is rather a large amount , maybe that is why some have suggested a vendetta

lets hope you stick to your word

Much the same, except i disliked Coleman, and thought he was rubbish.

The strange thing is, many of the same people who keep banging on about Thorn being a great scout, never mentioned him when Coleman was here, were all great signings attributed to him.

There is a lot of picking and choosing of who is and isn't a good player(and who is responsible for us signing them) depending on who is flavour of the month on here.

NLWHC has a lot more posts in total, an awful lot about Thorns "quality".

Appears to be missing in action, must be since the club cut off his internet on Sunday.
