I think it will come , poor form , bad luck , call it what you will it just hasn't happened for us yet. Did we use up all our luck last season on our incredible run to Wembley , who knows ?
What I do know is that there isn't another manager I would rather have than Robins currently. He has done it before many times and I'm confident we will turn the corner.
Can't see us being in a relegation battle , we may end up lower/mid table this season however though

The sames been said about him year after year. People are so reactionary and don’t look to what’s actually been evidenced in the past

Having concerns, absolutely fine.

Actually sacking him, totally ridiculous.

We had six defenders leave in the summer.
If you don’t think Kitching is good enough that’s your l opinion but he had to recruit defenders and wing backs.

Isn't me who thinks he isn't good enough... It's the bloke who signed him.

We have Eccles, Kelly and sheaf in midfield.

We spent how much on Wright? Could have got a decent centre mid for that.

It’a hardly totally ridiculous from the owner’s perspective, especially after how much has been reinvested back into the squad.

There's nothing wrong with the coaching as staff or set up it's a transitional period when we come of the back of a great season and now we have invested in players like it or not we need time. The worst thing we can do is get rid. Its a tough time granted but like what's been said we need to stick through this period to see the benefits later. Every one wants success straight away it's life it don't work that way unfortunately. Keeping together is key. I'm only gonna say this once I just hope we all stay together even if it's the 15k hardcore....PUSB

My main concern with him at the moment is the Wright signing and how much money looks to have been wasted.

Robins learned his trade under Fergie.

Fergie always had a leader on the pitch, Roy Keane / Scholes etc.

Robins had Doyle then Hamer etc. we improved with Kelly last season.

We are one man short in the middle v

It's a real test of his management now.

For all the McNulty's and Gyökeres, let's not forget Robins failed to get the best out of JCH and Conor Chaplin who went on to do very well.

Haji was linked with 3/4 top clubs in the past year including Palace and Rangers. He's clearly got something but we aren't getting the best out of him. Same could he said about Simms.

He’s tried to completely change the way we play and it’s backfired simple as that. Last season we played high tempo counter attacking football. Moved the ball quickly through the lines and fortunately had a monster of a striker who would batter defenders all game.

He’s intentionally trying to play a possession based game now and it simply isn’t working. The defenders are static and don’t drive forward with the ball like McNally and Doyle did last year, Eccles is so negative in possession, everything is sideways and backwards and our strikers are misfiring, it’s a recipe for disaster.

MR made it abundantly clear in the fans forum recently that he has final say on signings and clearly he is choosing the way we play, it’s just not working right now and the worrying thing is, I really don’t know how he fixes it at the moment.

People were saying this after 10/12 games last season and saying "how long can we blame the pitch" then we got to the championship playoff final and our highest ever second tier finish

Zain Westbrooke was linked with a host of clubs above us in the pyramid and has ended up playing out most of career as a squad player in League Two. Imaginary links invented by agents don’t really mean anything.

And to state the obvious... Goals. Not just the strikers. I thought the centre backs would score more this season but the delivery is chronic. Need to stop playing 7 defensive minded players every game and expecting to suddenly start scoring.

Well the reinvestment is a long term thing , 4 years to get a return on these players not 14 games

It's clearly very, very different now than then. People need to stop wheeling out this excuse.

This time last year we had two of the best ever Championship players and a team fighting for every point.

Equally, we were actually pretty good in those early games. We battered Sunderland, Millwall and Hull at that time.

Robins appears to be a fire fighter, when his backs against the wall he comes out on top.

different environment now - the expectation has changed ala Huddersfield and Scunthorpe, where he’s deemed a failure

It's true but you can look at Walker and Waghorn. Two players that went backwards under Robins.
