138 games now for us, consistently stand out quality.

So glad he’s got this after last years mess up. So glad we have him for another year.

I look forward to watching him in the Prem. He won't have the freedom he currently gets because we would get slaughtered. But it's great when a player gives as much as he has gets his chance to shine.

He has played such a big part on bringing our squad together as a close group. Was a clown from the start, and here he is still celebrating every win and sometimes even getting the shy players like Simms to celebrate with us. I know Grimes made a massive difference on the pitch, but we wouldn't be where we are without MVE

We have had some quality right backs over the years - Brian Borrows and Roland Neilsson. MVE is right up there as one of the best.

He has to be one of the best recovery fullbacks in all divisions. Last night he did it time and time again.

I have thought a few times this year there were signs that he was losing his pace.

Even so when asked recently who if any of the team was Prem quality, he was the first name

What is more important is that he is mentally ready for the Prem. He is ready for anything.
Those who don't feel as though they deserve to be there there will fail quickly.

We've got the nucleus of a side already. Rudoni will be able to show what he can do. Wright will score goals. Tats certainly has the confidence and will put a few Prem defenders on their arse. Grimes and Onyeka in the middle organising it all and MVE just being MVE giving them confidence he is covering his area.

KKH must’ve been quietly gutted when Milan wasn’t sold, best RB in the league by a country mile

A very important player for us. He finishes every game strong which encourages everyone to forget his awful cock ups in the first 20 minutes of games.

MVE best full back in the league by a long way. Has pace, can get forward and very rarely gets beat in a 1 v 1 situation. Can count on one hand how many off games hes had for us in all his appearances, been consistently excellent. Deserves to be playing in the prem and so glad its going to be with us #PUSB

He hasn't had the greatest of seasons by his own standards but has managed to get a really impressive 10 assists, and is finishing the season strongly when it matters. His personality is massive in the dressing room. He deserves his shot in the Premier League. He was superb last night.

I think hes exactly the kind of fullback that we need in the prem .. his pace is invaluable

Hes obviously a fan favourite too , Holland call up next season ? You never know

Great player who loves the club.

With trippier backing him up we have a stacked right back core next season

I disagree; like many he dipped mid-season and looked knackered. Other than that, he's been brilliant.

I dunno Jurien Timber might be a slightly better player

Ofcourse but they still need a squad and dumfries is the "other guy"

Timber plays CB sometimes too and the lad at sunderland geertruida has also had a call up

A call up is never far away if you have a good season at the top.
