Very sad news one of the best sportsmen of all time if not the best, not my era but watched so many of his fights and stories from his life was an inspiring figure

amazing boxer and a greta talker. loved the interview he did when he talked about brian clough being a better talker than him. legend, deserves a state funeral when he passes

We're all gonna die - Ali has suffered enough with his condition though.
Mind you...errrm...it was in The Sun? Tomorrow they'll probably claim he's been cured & has become imortal.

Sorry, I don't buy them.

He's a real sporting hero though...well & truly the end of an era. Ali, Smokin' Joe & George Foreman never ducked a fight for fear of getting beat like many of those since.

According to his family, he's still kicking and in high spirits. Pictures of him watching the Superbowl and posing with his fists raised.

My missus' Uncle still talks about it to this day. He came out of the Tile Hill social and walked over and shook Ali's hand.

Not a bad claim to fame.
