A bang average Norwich City side should have been dispatched or a draw minimum, Bristol last week was tough , great point (and great backdrop at Bedminster CC). Massively disappointed today, decent 1st half but wtf 2nd, totally lost our way with no real plan, direction etc. We desperately need a leader, Thomas? Why didn't we throw him on for corners? Players sitting watching too deep 2nd half after a good pressing 1st half. Painful to watch today, so many things wrong, actually Torp and Eccles were OK but faded badly 2nd half, Rudi bizarrely played wide right. Not convinced with all the extra coaching, looked at the bench at 80mins, 4 of them on the line shouting instructions with the players looked totally confused. We look lost at times , not a concern but Robins needs to get a grip as DK will almost certainly be looking to change it pre January.

I thought Norwich looked very strong and think they could well be challenging at the top of the table.

Really organised. Strong and physical. Lots of pace in the side. Worked their socks off, played as a unit.

I thought they looked really decent.

I can't get past the fact I hate Sargeant every game so find it difficult to be balanced about them.

Same. They dealt with any press with ease. Doyle looked outstanding.

We sat so deep 2nd half, we made them look rather decent Unfortunately we didn't press like the 1st half and on Tuesday night which we did in abundance.

As always with these things, probably a bit of us being poor and them playing well. That said, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Stoke, Bristol City and Norwich have looked good teams against us.

If they are bang average. We are a louder bang average.

I thought the Norwich manager deserves a lot of credit for making 2 really smart substitutions at half time.

It really changed things giving them more bodies in midfield - and - as usual - we didn't react.

I was one of those that laughed when I saw him linked with us over the summer... but now he has gone to Norwich - he would have been fantastic signing.

Norwich are not the Norwich of old. They had 1 attempt on target. Same with Stoke. Rather than saying these teams are good we should say we’ve been bad and made them look good. We will get easily thrashed 4-0 or worse by some of the better teams we are about to face.

My concern with yesterday was how predictable we are.
We are slow moving the ball forward, allowing teams to get all their players back and reduce any space centrally.
When the attack breaks down we are left with both fullbacks high up the pitch giving teams lots of space in the channels or wings to exploit on the counter attack.
Every corner is into the goalmouth area.
Etc ….
Norwich made tactical changes at half time that won them the game. It was pretty easy for their manager to adjust his team to win the game

I think when Sheaf isn’t around we are going to need to play Lati in midfield

Norwich were there for the beating & bullying in the first half. Mainly a team of midgets lacking in form & confidence. But a truly appalling Coventry City side were unable to take advantage.

I just thought there was no chance of it happening. I thought he would go to a premier league team.

I just really don’t agree with this to be honest. They played a normal game.

Their passing was pretty exceptional today. Couldn’t get close to them.

Our passing would have been excellent if our opposition stood about five yards off with all the movement of a training ground cone.
