so, we have 6 first team squad strikers on books at the moment,

What's peoples thoughts on where they think MR ranks them.

I'm going....

1. McNulty
2. Nazon
3. Biamou
4. Ponticelli
5. Beavon
6. Thomas

K Thomas is more than likely in the new version of the "bomb squad".

Maybe Nazon ahead of McNulty, otherwise I would agree with that.

I would say thats about right, I think we'll see Biamou improve a fair bit this season and he could be vital when we're chasing games, tbf to him he wins the majority of the stuff pumped upto him, I like the look of him but he really needs a goal to boost his confidence.

I hope he doesn't see them in a list of descending order - one of the things I really like about our strikers as a collective is they've each got different strengths and ought to be deployed based on maximising those strengths against the type of opposition we'll be playing against e.g. Biamou in the air, Ponticelli/McNulty when there's space in behind the back 4, Nazon with the ball at his feet etc

I would not be surprised if we see Beavon and Thomas leave in January and replaced with another striker.

I'd much rather any wages saved went towards another winger.

Winger and a No.10 needed. Ruben Lameiras hasn't been playing much at Plymouth :emoji_thinking:

Ruben will never cut it in my opinion, one of the most overrated players we've had.
