Good job robins isn't here else he would have put him left back rather than take him off.

I feel so sorry for him, probably the toughest time in a player's career is being injured as i can't imagine the physio is remotely pleasant on top of the frustration of not being involved. I get the frustration with his injury record but to read some of the posts on here you'd think he was doing it deliberately. I think fortunately for the club we probably have enough in central midfield to cope with his absence, fingers crossed the others can stay fit.

I get it's not great but I'd do physio for 8 hours a day for 10k a week.

I feel very sorry for Ben Sheaf.

He is a very fine player at Championship level but sadly he has become injury-prone over the past couple of years. I don't think he keeps getting the same injury recurring but suffers from a series of middling injuries that have a habit of keeping him out for weeks at a time. He's turning into one of those players, like Jodie Jones, who is very unlucky.

We won't be able to sell him until he is fit again. All we can do is help him to get fit and hope that his form returns.

A fit and firing Sheaf is a great asset to us.

He isn't. Allen is. Hench Allen took the armband yesterday rather than it go back to Kitching. Which suggests Kitching is 3rd choice behind Sheaf and Allen.

A captain nowadays is a pointless thing anyway I feel. It's a tradition, and usually given to a senior player, rather than an actual leader. Especially here atm. For seasons now, we've had captains that warm the bench. Kelly, Sheaf, Allen. It's pointless. Long gone are the days of an actual captain, on the pitch doing the managers job. They dont exist anymore. Your John Terry's, Roy Keanes, Tony Adams'. They're not around any more.
Look at the England team of past years, Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane as captains. Stalwarts and great players, yes. Natural born leaders and captains? Not in a million years!

Every time Allen played under FL last season he wor the armband. Granted, he never played alongside, only instead of, Sheaf. Which suggests he is FL chosen VC behind Sheaf. With neither of them on the pitch 3rd choice is clearly Kitch. Which make me wonder, if we did bring in a new CH, it would most likely be Thomas that would lose his place?

At least it's only £750k lost as opposed to millions.

Idk what to say about him, when fit and on form great but a captain that misses what 50% of the season roughly?

Least Kelly was on his last legs agewise.

Think at home he will be making way for Grimes, Torp , Rudoni midfield trio.

Need to start seeing the best of him before he really starts being left behind.

It goes to the first born unless they’re a girl in which case it’s the vice captain until an election can be held.

Why do people delight in ragging on Sheaf btw? 150+ appearances for the club over 5 years and our captain. He's managed over 30 in every season too, not as permacrocked as some would have you believe.
