I know he can't necessarily help it, but this is beyond frustrating now. Hes missing far too many games a season, it's got to be holding him back.

He doesn’t really look up for it either. Torp starting over him says it all. He is a top player in this league but it’s possibly at the point where a change is best all round.

Really feel for him, his career may end up fizzling out.

I just wanted for him to start the season fully fit cos he got injured last pre-season, and this happens.
Kinda thought something was up with him being on the bench so must have had a knock that he’s aggravated.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Most of us were extremely happy that he stayed last year, he'd had an excellent season, and looked a class above the division.

Now he looks broken.

Groin injury

Nothing wrong with him for him to be on the bench.

Feel sorry for him. Player we had a few years ago was amongst the best in division in his position but fading away now.

Has had a full pre season and his groin goes first competitive match. Tats played a fast ball to him and he looked uncomfortable with that. All over from there.

Got to feel for him but every time he's out now you feel like it's going to be months rather than miss a couple of games.

Just shows how quickly things could change. Wasn't long ago he was the one player we were desperate to keep over the summer with talk of not listening to offers under £15m. Is anyone going to be paying that now?

Something to consider when people are talking about King potentially turning down Premier League offers for Rudoni.

He used to be my favourite player, he's rapidly gone to my least favourite. Absolute waste of a wage

Ben Sheaf doing the most Ben Sheaf thing ever.

We were saying before the game what a decent preseason he'd had.

Shame, but I reckon this will be his final season with us.

Made captain again too. He isn’t and never was a captain on the pitch, too passive. He most probably gets it as professional off the pitch.

Still my favourite player, when he’s on form ( and fit ) an absolute joy to watch play football. I just hope injury’s aren’t going to ruin his career

You have to feel for him.
He doesn't want to be constantly injured does he.
It must be equally frustrating for him as it is for us and the management team.

Some proper pricks here. I posted similar on the match ratings thread, but im sure some of you actually take delight in his injury. Sad to think youre supposed to be supporters.

As I put there, surely even if you're not a fan of him, you want him fit to sell him for max value. He's played all pre season, and I'll bet nobody is more gutted than him.

Clearly decent at this level when fit and only the season before last was player of the season and players player. Hopefully only a short term injury.

Bloke posting in online forum thinks professional athlete isn't warming up properly. Should probably get yourself down to Ryton.

Exactly the same. Was pleased to see Torp start ahead of him as Sheaf had looked woeful in pre season.
Was even a bit dejected about him coming off the bench as torp had played well…

I genuinely dont know how you get value out of him anymore.

Nobody is going to buy him, he's never going to be able to start for a considerable amount of games, you cant even bring him on like we used to Kelly to see out of games.

How longs left on his contract?
