It was good hearing the team come out to this again today.

Strange how a song can bring back memories, when I heard it today, just for a second I thought I was in the East Stand at Highfield Rd for a Premier league relegation battle fixture!

I've always wanted City to come out to the 'Pressure Drop' cover by The Specials - top tune, local links, and some context for CCFC!

I think that they probably played it for the Legends but I would like to hear it every time the team run out. As you say it brings back so many memories.

I remember they used to play True Blue by Madonna in the 80s. Rubbish.

Well it's got a decent record when it's been played as our entrance tune so long may it continue

watching the old firm match an the way the whole ground were belting out club songs makes me a bit jealous we ain't got any good songs to play just before kickoff.

I know not many teams can compete with that especially outside the prem lge, but Derby have a good club song pre match and i've always liked a bit of Marching on Together that Leeds play!

Is it true that Arsenal used to run out to theme tune from "The A-Team"?

There's so much music and brilliant musicians in Coventry. We don't need to use other peoples songs. I'm surprised that there have been no locals write one for us. Or the club haven't thought of tapping into it!!

I was thinking more about "the scene"

There's loads of local, unsigned and brilliant bands in Coventry!

It is a bit of a shame that there isn't a song that we can continue when the tannoy stops, like Leeds or West Ham do. The Lets All Sing Together version the club used to play I thought was a bit dull and slow. Although I do like the idea of Presure Drop by The Specials, big tune!

There is a reggae version of "In Our Coventry Homes" knocking about somewhere. Speed it up to punky ska and I reckon we've got our anthem!

Didn't we start running out to an enemy song earlier in the season?

Spot on with that shout, think its the All Skas . I'm sure they would record a speeded up version if asked
