I didn't think it was class, but did find it amusing.

Mr. Bean has universal appeal and whether anyone likes him or not, you just cannot knock that fact. His humour is beyond boundaries and is truly global.

At it's very best Mr. Bean can show moments of pure genius.

Wasn't genius last night, but a great idea and I found it quite amusing, so job done. It wasn't a Mr. Bean episode, nor was it supposed to be. It was the Olympic opening ceremony and that was fully recognised and they utilised the fact that Chariots Of Fire is one of the greatest British films ever.

This is where the Olympic committee went wrong I think! Missed a trick not including these two?

I was lucky enough to see him live many years ago and it is the most I have ever laughed for any comedy performance.

It was just wonderful and as I said before, at times Mr. Bean borders on genius.

The real pianist playing alongside him is named Ian. His mother died at 5 am on the day of the olympic ceremony. Tough gig. The music was recorded because of sound problems during practice.

Ian is my brother-in-laws brother-in-law.
