Hang on, people will be upset if Mowbray leaves?

I thought he was a terrible manager who needs to be sacked immediately? That was the general consensus on here a month or two ago.

Sorry, I just can't keep up with the fickleness of football fans.

Yes, it is like that sometimes, isn't it? It's like the Butts. On one hand SISU are dragging us down and attendances are crap because of them. On the other the Butts is too small as they'll be tens of thousands of people trying to get into the ground.

The POV changes with the argument.

Yeah but big decisions over the clubs long term future, shouldn't be made while only taking
The clubs current position into consideration.

To be fair, I can only remember myself and Grendel calling for his head.

Neal...why not sponsor Cov? Or if the Cov fans want TM here (which the majority do), threaten to pull your sponsorship if TM/MV join!

His company is based up north so would be pointless sponsoring us. I would feel that his livelihood is more important than TM leaving Cov and pulling out of a deal

And I still don't care if he leaves.

That side I find this inside track information somewhat odd. The Rotherham board would have had to approach the club and I would assume compensation will also be factored in.

I've never known a manager be head hunted but then interviewed with others

That seems very odd. Normally there is a clandestine meeting and a resignation.

Sisu dragging the attendances down does not mean that we build a stadium to suit, surely ?

Yep,OTT, off the mark thinking as per usual.

Not many calling for his head at all.

People have seen that he was heavily criticised (quite rightly so) and deduced that means they all wanted him sacked

Is this SISU cashing in on our Manager? Is there nothing that this lot won't sell off?

It's not OTT thinking at all.

Here's an 11 page thread full of people calling for Mowbray to be sacked:

http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/mowbray-needs-to-go.64352/

It was clearly more than just two people ffs.

I sponsor the home kit. The clue is in the name Neal. Hodge Clemco is my company.
Pissed off about it as whilst I sponsor RUFC I am City season ticket holder.
My understanding between is TM/MV and Gary Bowyer who gets the job.

Cov Telegraph has Steve McClaren as favourite. :jawdrop:

i don't believe this for one bit, I'm thinking Mr Neal, or whatever your name is, might be a secret Villa fan stirring up some shit!
Steve McClaren is now the favourite for the Rotherham job, but you would know that Mr Neal already, seeing the kit sponsors are privy to all going on at clubs these days!

Well he's given you his name, his company details and, by extension, how to contact him... while his username refs a Yorkshire place, and he's been on this board for five years.

Now while I'm not above people using this board for a spot of WUMming, this'd be a helluva setup!

Or he could be smoke screening the real manager in contention and using social media to keep his odds higher with the bookies (who use social media) to establish candidates odds. Just a thought!

I'm no WUM. I am just reporting TM and MV had an interview regarding RUFC job on Tuesday. The interview took place at ASD lighting in Rotherham which is the company owned by Tony Stewart the Chairman of RUFC
Make of it what you will !!
I am 100% Skyblue fan who would like TM to stay. My personal opinion is he will stay with us.
I am a season ticket holder at the Ricoh and apart from the Shitfields season have been a season ticket holder since 1982.
Regarding Steve McClaren there is no chance of him getting the job.
I am told there will be a decision by the weekend at Rotherham. It has not been confirmed to me personally but I understand TM approached them, which is concerning. He must have doubts regarding investment at City.

So is Alan stubbs in the running in your opinion, as the bookies have him odds on favourite - or is that a smokescreen?
