The man has got us to Wembley!

If he hadn't have failed he wouldn't have walked. If he hadn't have walked we wouldn't have got Slade in. If we hadn't have got Slade in we wouldn't have signed Beavon and if we hadn't have signed Beavon then he wouldn't have scored that goal and set us on to the path of victory!

Mowbray, I salute you!

Yes he did. The original shot was on target, it will stand as his goal.

Fact was, the majority of that team were neither Mowbray's or Slade's (RCC, Harries, DKE, Haynes, Thomas, Tudgay), but I am eternally grateful for having Stuart Beavon here. Exactly the sort of striker we have been crying out for.

The original shot was so far wide I reckon he was aiming at Fisher.

@Nick can you do one of those funky Gifs showing how far wide his shot was?

Thought Reilly stepped up too last night.
As for Beavon, if you don't shoot you don't score.... if it takes a deflection going in then it we will take that bit of luck but nice work from DKE initially and Reilly to cut it back for Beavon to quickly turn and create space.

You never heard of a banana shot with spin?

That was beautifully curled. Started off wide and would have bent into the net off the post.

Beavon's goal.

well done otis you stupid dumb fuck. way to end the cease fire

mowbray got us through group stages. mowbrays players got us through knockouts. beaven is slades only signing who has scored in this trophy?

fact is if we win it it will be a joint effort between 3 managers. they have all played their part.

you and steve82 obsession with hating mowbray and loving slade is ridiculous. but if you enjoy that hoof ball so much thats your perogotive. but dont beg me to "give it a rest" again now.

We won one cup game under Mowbray this season. He had a couldn't give a fuck attitude to cups the prior season. We wouldn't be at Wembley if he was in charge.

Good grief you ARE angry this morning.

It's not a troll thread. As I said on the other thread, I am just so happy having Beavon here.

Yeah, we had Armstrong last season and previously we had McGoldrick, but they weren't our players. Beavon is our player.

I honestly think he is exactly the sort of player we need here and if we can just pair him up in the right partnership then we made be on to something.

I see it was diverted in, but I still think he should be given the goal. Wasn't one of those wicked deflections with the ball going in completely the wrong direction.

Not going to argue with you.

I was pleased as punch last night and so happy. If you think that I would then go out to create a troll thread when my head was jam-packed full of happy thoughts and Wembley, so be it.

Last thing on my mind was trolling.

Was just trying to be a little humourous. Yep, the thread mentions Mowbray, but there is no dig there.

Not a troll thread, but if you think it is, then that's entirely up to you.

If it WAS a troll thread, do you not think it a bit rich that you troll all the time but then bitch if someone else does it?

It wasn't, but I can see from your tone and your apparent anger (very odd on a day like today that should be all about positivity) that you believe it was.

Not going to change your mind. You are looking through eyes tainted by previous exchanges.

Just be happy we have Stuart Beavon at our club.

I liked Sordell too (A Mowbray signing), but just think Beavon's work rate and passion stands out and is exactly what we need.

what a joke you are otis. sitting there and saying its not a troll thread or a dig at mowbray

troll all you want. but when i give it back dont ask me to drop it now please etc. and your pals who like your shitty posts can be quiet too.

cant have it both ways.

you clearly not happy that cov fans united after last night. you wanted to go back to TM argument that you lost so spectacularly last time.. now you are scared(why? im not fighter, i wont hurt you) and pretending thread was supposed to be about beavon. yes a thread called thank you mowbray is all about beavon lol.

Mowbray would have used his tactical nouse and consigned Beavon to the left of a 3 man forward line with tudgay in the middle and another great lone aka Wright on the right side.

As I say, not going to argue with you.

I came home bouncing off the walls and so, so happy.

The last thing on my mind was to then troll.

I can see I am not going to convince you, so let's leave it at that.

Smile ..... and breathe!!!!!!

I think you chomped on the big worm that was hanging on the hook.... could of just laughed it off after the night we had last night. Moods should still be high and all be United!
I've no hate for TM, and I doubt Otis has. He brought some wonderful days and memories early in the 15/16 season.
My only gripe with TM was his recruitment this summer and the way he lost the love and fight for the season. He did the right thing waking away in all honesty. If the love and passion has gone best of going.
I don't actually think you hate Slade and can understand and reason with the situation he's found himself in and the size of the task to rebuild and turn around our season.
Draw a line and enjoy the moment, laugh this one off. No harm was clearly meant by Otis
