Just had one of those alert things coming up on my phone. Reported in the CT apparently but can't see it yet.

TM says he can be a 20 goal a season striker and has 2 or 3 conversations with him.

Really? I think my "in Mowbray we trust" mantra may not be used as often.

Was on the cards, he'd made it clear he likes him

Don't get me wrong I thought he was ok, but I presumed he was temporary. Back up off the bench, fine. Not our number 9, surely? I was hoping for Samuel back for the season.

Didn't see him play myself but didn't a few say he was unlucky and could have notched a few?

Guess that means Mowbray was responsible for him signing in the first place:thinking about:

He was a lot better than madine but where as madine seemed to miss hit them and they went in proschwitz seemed to hit them well and they were saved.. Got to be worth a chance with a decent pre season ..

True enough. I'm all for giving him a chance.

I only saw him once. Against Crewe. What an amazing day that turned out to be.

I've said on here in the past that I don't see TM as the saviour that many do. That said, if he can take what in essence are poor players and work some magic over a full preseason, then good on him. Jurys out for me though...

He's like s non goal scoring Mick Ferguson and without the heading ability.

Can't wait.

I thought he looked alright to be fair and was unlucky at times. I would be happy if he signed however I still think we need another like Samual or a proven goalscorer at this level.

Didn't see that myself.

I thought that Madine offered a physical presence whereas Proschwitz seemed to be very lightweight for a big guy - and he didn't show much else.

I'm surprised at the news, but TM deserves plenty of "benefit of the doubt" as far as I'm concerned so I look forward to Proschwitz proving me wrong.

mixed feelings about this one.

Stokes i can understand, with a small budget, a squad player who wont pull up any trees, but wont let you down, so use the budget you have elsewhere..

This guy is completely different, he was signed to play in the prem. Any deal we offer to get him here has to make a fair dent in the budget

Agreed. Thought he was really poor - also he'd be one of the biggest wage earners as well.

Not excited by this news but I am going off peoples reactions as I haven't seen him play. Again, in Mowbray I trust. He did say a few months ago that the lad looks tasty in training so get that on a Saturday with a few decent players around him who knows.

Only saw him the once against Crewe and he was about the only one who played half decent that day. Held the ball up well and scored a good goal.

Sorry but he's a lightweight wet end released by fecking Brentford ! Are we just going to re sign all the failures of last year and pretend that TM is going to miraculously transform them !?

Hull paid £2.6m for him in 2012!

if TM sees something in him then fair enough

Thought he looked okay the few times I seen him. Just looked devoid of confidence in front of goal. If that confidence returns we"ll have found a real good player for sod all.

I'd much prefer Proschwitz over someone like Simon Church.

Given some of the dross we've signed, not overly sure a transfer fee is an endorsement.

Ah well, guess he gets a chance to prove me wrong, and hope he does!

Well the only person being overly negative and bashing the exclamation mark key is Ashdown. So based on that I'm sticking £10 on over 15 goals.

While he didn't initially impress me and many other others I thought he got better with more minutes under his belt. While its not an exciting signing, I am happy to trust Mowbrays judgement on it ( that includes playing ability and the financial package we will offer him)

Would that be goals scored with his left foot, scored in the second half against League 1 opposition (top half) ??

I thought he started to get better as he went on. Certainly showed a few moments that made me think he had a bit about him.

It's a reference to another thread where Grendel and someone (Stupot I think) are trying to have a bet about how many goals Leon Clarke will score next season, but keep moving the goalposts.
