#CCFC fans, don't believe some of these 'insiders' who are spreading lies. Stay positive, getting there. #PUSB

I'm always happy to hear them say "Tara a bit". Does that count?

So much negativity on Twitter right now. Even some SISU slaters have reappeared without knowing how the talks will continue. Wonder if the same posters will declare their love for Mowbray if / when he signs and forget SISU even exist? :thinking about:

CCFC haters will have an absolute field day if this actually does fall through, I'm still confident it won't though.

But the Coventry Telegraph can reveal that the deal is virtually done with the 51-year-old manager seeking one last assurance regarding his plans for putting in place the professional infrastructure he feels is necessary to turn round the club’s fortunes.

Hmmm maybe I'll take back that 'whhheeeeyyy'

Isn't that the same story as last week? At this rate we'll know the location of the new stadium by the time TM signs.

Not jumping the gun but it does sound that TM is calling the shots and thats a good thing, i also believe he is marginalising Mr Waggott which would also be a good thing.

Putting in place a professional infrastructure?

That must mean getting rid of Waggott and fFsher then.

I don't like this. 'One last assurance?' Sounds like he's trying to force their hand on something and it might be one demand too far.

agreed. sounds to me like he is being unrealistic and asking for something crazy like a goalkeeper or some scouts.

I am worried

Sounds like a teacher, not a football manager (teaching friends won't like that one, I'm sure  )

Can whhhhhhheeeeeeeyyyyyy all you like, but that article has zero quotes. And the same paper previously wrote something similar about Francis Jeffers, and look how that turned out! Then again, losing Francis Jeffers wasn't actually a bad thing in the end

Edit: just seen your follow up post taking the wheeeeeyyyyyyy back

Not trying to derail the thread but there was some interesting info about the scouting situation on the Nii Lamptey podcast courtesy of Kieran Crowley (who works for the club).

Apparently there was a scouting system under Pressley, or at least a chief scout, and there was a list of potential transfer targets. When Pressley was fired so was the chief scout, to paraphrase the signings were a bit shit so he was got rid of.

The confusion about the database was because the only copy was on the chief scouts laptop and when he left he took his laptop with him. Once he realised he had the only copy it was returned and a procedure was put in place to ensure a similar situation doesn't occur again.

Shall we have new taps in our bathroom makeover or reconditioned ones...can you not polish them as I like the tarnished look....don't bother rubbing down the old paint it will look fine with a lumpy coat of gloss and the old light switch just works fine if you jiggle it.

2 reasons why he isn't signing until after the weekend:

1.) Middlesborough will win tonight
2.) He's going on the piss up afterwards for a 2 day sesh.
