Hi, is it possible to do this
online, or do you have to go to the ticket office?

Not sure if you can do it online but I’ve done it once and just went into the ticket office and it was straightforward.

They will reallocate and try to sell your existing seat for that one game.

They used to do it last season ( I moved from B16 to south stand a few times) but will only do it now if you buy an additional ticket. Which is annoying as I’m cool with moving and them reselling my original seat . If they have changed minds and do it for you then I’d be keen to know if they have changed policy again!

I've done it over the phone this season. I was buying an additional ticket and they just sent me two out to use instead of my card.

Pretty sure it's not possible online, but can be done on the phone or in person. You get issued a ticket for the new location to use instead of your Season Card. Not sure whether there's a rule about having to buy another ticket.

I think he will have to buy another ticket and will not get a refund for his season ticket. I asked about upgrading my son's season ticket to an adult ticket for 1 game and was told I had to get them to cancel his ticket & buy it full price as an adult ticket.

I’ve had to do that in the past too. It seems really unfair that no account is taken of the fact that you have already paid once for the seat.

If it's not a sell out just look for 2 together and move. Probably block 27. Will be less hassle.

If it is for 2 people look at the tickets available for whichever game it is and find just 2 that are together and buy 1 of them, hopefully the other 1 won't sell so you can sit together

In your scenario, you are ugrading the ticket to a different category, but I don't think the OP wants to do that. They just want to move to a different place for a particular match, which in my experience can be done without any extra charge. I don't think it can be done online, but by contacting the ticket office they can issue you with a ticket for the new location (and as your normal Season Ticket seat has therefore been released, presumably the club puts it on sale).

However, I'm still not clear whether such a move is possible without buying additional ticket(s) for the people you want to sit with.

Just wait until about 5 minutes in and move to 2 spare seats.

Unless you're trying to get between stands where you physically can't
