Had to make do with watching it on the telly last night but it looked a fantastic strike from a good thirty yards. He says it's the best goal he's ever scored. Got me thinking about great goals from City players over the years who weren't known as forwards. I recall Ian Gibson scoring against Cardiff at Highfield Road from the same distance,he had both feet off the ground ! any more crackers ?
Yes what a goal. was stood behind the goal it went in ! Think they did it again in another match ?The classic Ernie Hunt - Willie Carr freekick- Outlawed soon after due to use of both feet for the flick up.

All three goals against Arsenal when we beat them 3 v 2 at Highfield Rd. on the 26 th. December 1999.....especially Robbie Keane´s effort when it almost appeared that he had a telescopìc leg.
Fantastic memories
How good did we used to be on the break. Watching that again makes me realise how far we have fallen!
