I can see there have already been a lot of posts about last night and leon clarke etc etc.

so thought id go for a different angle.

This is the most confident sky blues side i have even seen in the 20 + years iv followed them. And its such a breath of fresh air. They are going into every game believing they should win the managers believe they should win. Carsleys words last night we could easily win the rest of our league games.

carl baker before the game last night did a facebook status

Istanbul 2005
Paul lawrie 1999 British open
Man utd v Bayern 1999
Ryder cup 2012
George foreman 1974
Redrum 1973
Man city v qpr 2012
Crewe v Cov 2013??????

I am very proud to be a cov fan at the moment. i love lee carsley and think he can do the job in league one but i dont think he is going to draw players into the club like managers like chris coleman, iain dowie, aidy boothroyd could. which is my only concern if we go up.

just like to get my say in about leon clarke i think the boys brilliant last two games hes been unplayable. yes hes lazy but his goals speak for themselves whats he got like 7 goals in 10 games for us ? hes there to do a job and that job is too score goals. granted hes not scoring as many as he should considering the chances he gets but for the last 15 years all we as fans have ever wanted is a 20 + a season goalscorer and we have had two in one season with mcgoldrick and now clarke.

We have proven we can score against crewe now lets go get 9 points out of our biggest 3 games of the season and go to wembley and win something worth getting excited about ! PROMOTION

A lot of it will be down to him he did do a great job and he got those players believing in themselves. hes organised a great squad and got the players fit and has built a great platform for whoever takes over next !

I could score 20 a season with all the chances Clarke has. Gets into good positions but should score more. Goals scored looks good but when you look at goals/chance rate it tells a different story.

No doubt you take Federer to a tie break, can run 100 metres in under 10.5 and par a round at Augusta too yeah?
