Lol !!!
Are you for real ??
Sisu have taken us out of Cov we are playing division three football. We are paying a whopping 1.8 million a year interest to Arvo on 50-70 million debt. Arvo have an option to call in the debt this December.
And you reckon they are the best of a bad lot and your giving them praise ??

No I am an Alien from outer space !!!

Yes.. Because we never got relegated with any other owners, we were never in debt with any previous regime in charge, there not the only owners who took our rightful home from us for the sake of money!? It's all been seen before..

Yet you live in the here and now..

How much of "their money" have Sisu pumped into the club, unencumbured by interest payments, charges, management fees or loan repayment requirements?

Good Point. A lot of it is loaned by ARVO. I wonder if their investors know how their money is being invested/ wasted? Or even where Coventry/ Northampton is?

I do not live in the past, but I and many others can see that the past is partly responsible for where we are now..

We want to be back at the Ricoh - Personally I have never been the Ricoh's biggest fan for many reasons that being said I would prefer to be at the Ricoh right now then in Northampton and as Highfield Road no longer exists as a Football Stadium, the Ricoh would certainly do for me.

acl have questions to answer - I think all the parties, past and present have questions to answer and ACL would definitely be among them.

sisu are not good for ccfc - I am not sure about this one.. The way Sisu have gone about running our Club has been diabolical no doubting that, poor Managerial staff alway the way up from the First Team Management Staff (bar the last two managers in Robins and Pressley), all the way up to Board Members who wanted to sit on the first team bench, I don't think anyone ever appreciated the way Sisu pumped their money into the Club, but are they the type that would pump x millions in to ensure promotion? Probably not.

That being said they have highlighted that there was a key issue with our Club, almost unheard of in comparison to other Clubs and their finances and it has taken Sisu a lot of cojones to put up the fight, you would argue that Sisu could have done things in a better way and I'd probably agree, but at least they did something..

Are Sisu good for CCFC? That question at first looks to have a straightforward answer, but my answer to it would be, Sisu are probably the better of a bad bunch, I.e the Richardson's and McGinnity's of this world, who undoubtedly set our Club along the path of ruin IMO.

2/3 Michael..

Robo, this is a brilliant post! No abuse, no insults, no opinions pretending to be facts - just a really clear and well reasoned argument. Agreeing on 2 out of 3 points is a great start. I want to take some time to think about what you say about sisu so will reply fully later. Cheers, Michael

Yes agreed the past is partly responsible for where we are now.
But your spouting crap about Sisu being good for CCFC is the most ludicrous bollux I have ever heard !!

I don't agree.

The past has a massive part to play in where we are now. If it wasn't for the people that have run this club for a lot of years we wouldn't have SISU. But on the other hand SISU have a massive part in where we are now. They have made the decisions that have led to the mess we are now in. We can't blame the previous owners for the present owners mistakes.

Exactly. Have you or anyone here Seen RobS election leaflet. I would love to see his strategy and the reasoning behind it laid out. I remain to be convinced that the council can move us forward.
