I have to say I agree with Ann Lucas' comments wholly. Sorry - for me - more Fisher bullshit. I'm sick of it

More Fisher lies, if he did believe what he was saying (which he doesn't) what does he think is going to happen when they eventually do announce the land and apply for planning permission. At that point the evil council (in his eyes) will then be able to apply the pressure and if they have the powers he alleges them to have then they won't get planning permission and they will be left with a piece of land they can't use. It's not possible to do this in secret, if the council really are someone they have to defeat to achieve this (which they don't) then they may as well get it out of the way.

There is no new stadium, thats what the evidence tells us. It was meant to be finished in 2 years, at the current rate they won't even have planning permission by then.

The Freedom Of Information requests made of neighbouring boroughs, combined with the lack of any quantifiable progress; viewed in conjunction with the costly Judicial review in respect of a stadium they've 'moved on from' tells you everything. It's horse-shit. Jack it in and get negotiating candidly, Mr Fisher

I think Mr Fisher is confusing council influence, with the reputation and public profile SISU has built itself.

More insults. I think you'll find the poster offered up already this morning a very considered piece. At no point has he/she insinuated that they would address Fisher in such a way.

But hey - don't let facts stand in the way of your usual diatribe. Why don't you address the ambition of this thread, as opposed to attacking it's contributors? Oh, just remembered, it's because your conscience won't afford you to do so...

Made me laugh but it would be more like "so Tim you have alienated your fan base by 90% and majority wont come back, you have been proved liars many times non more so than a 100 page report from a high court judge, the figures don't add up in any way humanly possible, treated all your fans with contempt and deceitfulness and you propose to build a stadium outside of Coventry that will cost around 25mil and you have no money to purchase it and no fans to fill it. Can you explain that me please?"

More the question I would ask if its all the same to you lol

The "ambition" of this thread, oh lofty talk for basically you all saying is "Fisher is a bullshitter " . I think we know that. What that has to do with my conscience is irrelevent.

i read the court transcripts cover to cover and never once did the SISU QC bring up the fact that the Council & ACL were bringing presure to bare on their suppliers regarding the alledged proposed new stadium! I would have thought it would have been part of a key arguament that ACL/CCC were trying to distress them?

Now, this is interesting. You're saying Fisher is a bullshitter. As such, I guess you subscribe to the view that there is no new ground. The expansion of this thought process being - I presume - you agree with successive judges who have ruled that this farce is driven purely by SISU's avarice with regards the Ricoh Arena. So, the move to Northampton is what? Using the club as a pawn in this game of high-risk chess?

You believe this, yet you're still prepared to turn up there; and castigate others who have - for a long time - seen the ambition behind this farce. Just run through with me how you reconcile your position can you please?

Yet another 'smoking gun' that presumably get left in the metaphorical gun cabinet. As they all must have, as I saw or heard none. I genuinely expected some anti-CCC/ACL revelations to come out of this process. They don't exist. They can't

The excuse changed since last year.. when I get time I'll find an older quote, but if I remember correctly the previous excuse for secrecy was commercial confidentiality required because there were 2 different sites & they didn't want the respective owners to know about each other..

I am sorry Mr Fisher, but that sounds incredibly vague and inappropriate, with no substantial evidence.

That said ACL's financial pursuit of Northampton wouldn't help matters..

Next it'll be we think our current architects are too expensive so we are looking at other alternatives but don't want to say who because they might put their price up. Then it'll be we have to replace Sandra Garlick before this goes any further because she is a Solicitor and we already have some of those and don't want a conflict of interest so we need another stadium committee chairperson. Probably in 2016 they will get rid of CBRE saying that it has took too long to find a 60 acre site so are looking at other land management companies and then it will be...............................and on and on we go.

The funny thing is the FL will buy it

I did wonder that when I read the piece in the CET. I thought they had fired over a warning letter but never taken it any further. Anyway if ACL / Higgs / CCC are as powerful as Fisher is suggesting and they did indeed go after Northampton then surely they would have pulled out of the groundshare deal and we'd be playing elsewhere. Or he could just be talking rubbish.

I don't see anything different in the article to what was said in Tim's interview with Shane on CWR. You know what ... I no longer care what Tim has to say. Ann Lucas got it right yesterday: only Seppala has any relevance so far as any significant off field issues are concerned. Monkey 1 and Monkey 2 might as well clear off and let the organ-grinder takeover. Please don't waste our time with any more drivel from Fisher or Mark Labovitch, I've had enough.

Most depressing thing in that article is the word 'might' at the beginning.

"Where a new arena might be buit (sic)"

As opposed to

"Where a new arena will be built"

Oh and Simon there's a typo, see above.

I think there could have been many "smoking guns" if ever the dealings between CCFC Ltd & CCFC H somehow went to court..... It's a shame that KCIC's backers couldn't use all that dosh they were happy to show proof of, on suing SISU in some way shape or form to get those accounts into the open for us all to peruse.

The term "wait till you see what comes out in court" may have been a lot more relevant

But i guess we will just have to accept they were all a bit of a mess....

Reading this interview and having listened to the CWR interview I'm convinced more than ever that there is only plan A. Distress ACL to collapse.

Following the JR defeat all that's happened is that the needle has returned to the start of the song and they're continuing on like before.

What the judge says on Friday is crucial to the future of this club. If he leaves the door open for an appeal there is no way we are coming home for the start of the season under sisu ownership.

It is a complete irrelevance.

Would have zero impact on CCFC nor on SISU. Only affects NTFC & ACL. TF feels the need to raise it as it provides some sort of distraction from the real issue(s).

I said I'd find a link, here it is in Aug 2013 Fisher was saying
Tim Fisher confirmed this evening he had been told by CBRE that heads of terms were now completed on one site – but said the club was bound by commercial confidentiality not to reveal any of the prospective sites, as doing so might unhelpfully push up the potential price.

In other words a completely different excuse, another day another excuse!

and in another article http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-25460481 ML said..
Mark Labovitch, a non-executive director at the club, said negotiations were under way about two sites for a new stadium, but said it would be "suicide commercially" to reveal them

I dont know why everyone is getting worked up.

Tim Fisher is putting CCFC on the map.

He is a good guy and we will be in the premier league going into our fabulous new sparkly stadium In 3 years!

We will be in the champions leauge before you know it and Northampton will be a distant memory.

We are on the march with SISU onwards and upwards!

Avarice and greed must be Tims overriding gods. He consistently tows the party line, putting himself before the press to spout the same old rehashed bullshit that Sisu want everyone to believe even though the evidence points to the truth. Hopefully one day he will have to look his own children in the eye when they say "Billy said his dad saw you on telly lying again, you don't tell lies do you dad?" He can then explain to his child why he lies for a living, it may force him to look at himself and let his contience make him do the right thing. I doubt it though as he's just another pig with his snout in the CCFC troff.
