MORE DAMMING STATS - Survival Gap still too bIg (1 Viewer)

Looking at the survival task and "progress" being made to climb out of the bottom three just look at the last few games and the points gap between bottom three and safety.

There has been statistically a gradual nett improvement to narrow the gap but in real terms have only improved from -5 points behind to only -4 points behind:

PLAYED - POINTS BEHIND SAFETY
36: -4
35: -3
34: -3
33: -3
32: -6
31: -6
30: -8
29: -7
28: -7
27: -7
26: -7
25: -5
24: -5
23: -5

Quite clearly we are just treading water stuck in the bottom three since October and when we get a chance to climb out we cock up and the chance goes begging.

Unfortunately time and games are running out rapidly and despite a relatively easier run in compared to others I think we need to Play10 remaining games W4-D3-L3 to achieve 45 points arguably the accepted safety margin for survival.

Still too tough a task ???

We've played some particularly hard fixtures during that time. Coming up we have several 6 pointers, so that gap can be down to nothing after a single fixture.

Of course theres a chance.
