If Ole us still in a job, Maddison and Wilson to move in December? I think Man U will definitely try and get Maddison, regardless, but they are getting impatient with Rashford, so maybe Callum as well?

They’d have to pay in excess of £100m for the two. It’d be far more worthwhile than splashing £135m on Wan-Bissaka and Maguire

Defo a big slice from Wilson...10-15% apparently. Possibly not so much from Maddison...

Madders is a Man U fan
But they'd still have to pay ridiculous money to get him as Leicester don't need to sell

Why would Leicester sell in January ? They are on course for a very good season even a decent shout for top four, by that I mean third or fourth.
On the other hand Bournemouth do sell players, Eddie Howe is a master of moving players out and bringing good replacements in, wouldn’t surprise me Wilson moving on but the really big moves tend to happen in the summer not mid season.

Surely we've had our dues from Maddison as far as sell on clauses go? Anyone know how they work? Do we get a slice of every transfer he's part off or just the first one after he leaves us?

Can't see either moving in January, think Pogba is the first domino to set things off. He's likely to go to Real next summer although the way they're playing a move for Pogba in Jan wouldn't be completely unexpected.

Like who? Bournemouth haven't sold any players that they have actually wanted to keep since being in Premier League

Remember we have had slices of Wilson over the seasons - based on goals scored
Maddison - Anderson messed up the addons in a rush to sell

According to Anderson, Maddison’s sale was going to net money for the club for years to come.

This is what Callum Wilson's England debut means for Coventry City

Think it’s the other way round, apart from the sell-on all the other extras for Wilson are pretty shit £25k for first international should have been £250k

There’s a £85m price tag on Callum. They don’t want to sell him.

At the end of one game that City lost, Anderson told Mowbray that statistically we should have won. Does that answer your question?

Well, I never really asked a question, just reiterating what Anderson said after the Maddison sale.

It's fair to say utd need goals and Wilson would be a good signing. What I like about from a CCFC perspective is utd have a history of paying over the odds which will increase our sell on amount.

In terms of Maddison there is still a substantial payment if he plays for England. I believe £1m +. So it is Southgate who holds the key. No idea why he never picks him

Norwich gets £1mill we get 10% of thatThis is what Callum Wilson's England debut means for Coventry City

So we get £100k for his England debut? Who in their right mind negotiated that?

You would have thought at least £250k, but better then the £25k we got for Wilson

We only get a percentage of what Norwich get. If he would've made his England debut while at Norwich it would've been a whole lot more.

I’m on holiday down in Sandbanks near Bournemouth and saw Callum get out of a Bentley yesterday. He’s definitely making the most of his £150k a week!

This has been an absolutely shite deal in hindsight (based on the information released). One clause was to do with Norwich remaining in the PL when we had him back on loan for the rest of the season. They got relegated. Now we get £100k for his England debut. Yes, if he’d got into the England setup whilst at Norwich we may well have got more, but did we honestly expect him to still be at Norwich when that time came about? Naivety at best.

mental isn’t it? You’d think we’d be able to find a decent negotiator at the club somewhere. We’ve been being screwed on transfers for as long as I can remember. Can’t remember the last decent player we got a fair amount for, though we do seem good at persuading people to buy shit players.

That's true Rob and Bournemouth are in a good position to hold on to him
The only problem will be if Wilson himself gets itchy feet and wants to go to a club where he's more likely to win something
No sign of that so far but we've all seen players do this to force a move

There was an 80m price tag on Maguire and Utd bought him. Leicester didn't need to sell but money talks.

Not sure. I think there is a specific clause in for the England cap. I think we get £1m wherever he makes it

It was only for two nights unfortunately and just as the weather turned dreadful! Swanage is lovely too, you’ll obviously know the chain ferry from Sandbanks well then.

Back on point... more injuries for united. They’re currently having to play Lingard up front, surely they’ll be lining something up in January. He’s still only 27, should still command a big fee.
