Couple of the shit rags reckon that Wilson is off to United in January. They claim the fee will be anywhere between £30-75m. Honestly don't see it myself but could make our season if we get 4-10m cash that could be spent in Jan.

Nothing of any Wilson sale will be to spend in January.

That’ll all be going to supplement the clubs losses whilst at St Andrews

No way it’s costing us £10m to be at Stans. £2-3m maybe.

That said I wouldn’t spend it anyway. That’s only one or two Championship level players there’s days

Chances are thatd be a along drawn out bid, probably concluded near the end of the window. Doubt we would have time to receive the funds and spend it wisely before the window Shut. However it would help us should be not get promoted.

If it happened in time for us to be able to use the money and we were still in the top 6 surely the club would use some of it? This is a hard league to get out of, chances need to be taken.

Enough to purchase a bit of land. Then start saving up for a few bricks.

Which is what we'll need ready for next season so get them in early to help with the promotion push!

How did we miss out of having Sancho come through our academy? To steal a term.....I suppose "two out of three ain't bad".

Dont agree Hucks - I think MR would be given something in January if this sale went through. We can smell promotion in the air and a couple of astute MR signings in Jan transfer window could be the finishing touch to a promotion season.

You wouldn't need all of it, just the corner by the Burnt post pub and easy access to the A45.

Memorial Park - council owned land so probably they would block us on that one.
Good shout though.

Just put planning in for a stadium with student housing on top in the city centre, it’d fly through.

If we're sitting pretty come January, I'd be satisfied just putting any money from the Wilson sale towards keeping Robins when someone inevitably comes in for him.

That is my vote too. Stash the cash.
The only exception should be if there appears over the next two months, when we play the better teams, and alarming gap in our currently slightly oversize squad. Thinking Hiwula and Jobello may not being quite good enough to get us the goals we need. But that could be covered by a loan - See Bright last year. In the event of us being promoted, we would need to splash the cash then, without doubt.

If we get any money in January MR will have targets in place already. It's not like he will only start looking when the money comes in, it's not Football Manager!

A real poacher's goal. Being in the right place at the right time I would say is one of the most important attributes of a successful goal scorer

Or a novel way could be to get the fans to buy the bricks.
Could even have their names on them
