They put 500k in for godden, was bumped up to 750k.

The extra 250k is probably around 2 players wages, if they are young and on loan

Probably can't do it now because we put the extra in for godden

He said 3 before last weekend didn't he? We only found out godden was available on Saturday.

Before that he said he wouldn't be getting any of the money then spent 750k.

Think people are trying too hard to find something to be annoyed about.

We need to get a few off our books or loaned out.

It may be he's talking to L1 or L2 clubs who want to take one of our fringe players
Naturally he will want to get the best deal possible for the club so his public comments would reflect that

Personally I’m happy with the squad now I think we’re pretty much there,I don’t see much point in bringing in pointless loans unless a quality one pops up I don’t expect robins to be rushing into the loan market.

We’ve still got Allen to join the team and don’t forget Jones and Wakefield to get fit yet, they’ll be like having 2 new signings once they are up to speed.
Jobello will settle in given time, and we’ve also got Kastaneer to step up, not to mention those in the under 23 squad that are ready to fight for a shirt.
So I ain’t worried about a lack of loans. I think we’ve got genuine competition for places this season.

I'm fairly sure we will get a couple of loans in before Sept 2nd. No point Robbins gobbin off if there is cash left.

If he was to say we have targets lined up and they fail again it'll be a let down. Best keep it low key and see what happens

If a prem team wants experience for a youth player there isn't always a cost involved

Can't really see us signing anyone one on a fee now. Maybe a couple of loans but I dont think there is any need to panic. With two or three coming back from injury most bases are covered.

Moving Brown on would be a bonus for the budget regardless whether anybody comes in or not.
