Anyone got any contacts / recommendations / work in the field?

Aiming to hire one (including Driver) for around 10/12 people to take us to/from an all day sporting event.

Couple of hundred to hire, same for the driver, plus fuel. Unless one of the group wants to not drink in exchange for free travel, you're probably better off with a couple of ubers these days depending where it is.

Probably too far for Ubers and ideally need the coach to wait around.

I’ve reached out to local companies, there just doesn’t seem to be many!

You’ll be lucky to find any companies who hire minibuses to individuals, if you do it will have to be on your own insurance , as too many people where hiring them ,then having an accident and 16 passengers claiming for whiplash , like you said probably cheaper trying to get a couple of seven seater taxis

I found a couple on Schpock years ago and they ended up outbidding each other as desperate for work. Worth a look on there.

When I worked in Cov we always used D’s minibus hire for company nights out, they were always very good
