Rushworth my motm, kept us in it again
Wright carried on where he left off
Esse did will first 40 or so minutes
Sakamoto was absolutely amazing though, defensively and taking the pressure off.

Rushworth excellent.

Wright, EMC excellent. MvE good, Esse looks an excellent pick up.

Saka and Torp did very well when coming on.

Is it time for Rudoni to be dropped and either Esse start in his spot with Saka back on the wing or BTA to come back in for him.

Sakamoto was a real lift when he came on. You can feel the energy he brings up in the stands.

Sakamoto is so good. In ways not always appreciated from the stats and from a distance. What a man. What a player. What a guy.

I’d go for this too except an extra half point for Eccles who I thought looked great in first half - and also slightly harsh on Rudi

We don't get the second goal with rudoni on the pitch because he wouldnt have been where bta was.

The huge gap instantly vanished.

We get left wide open so grimes has to cover much more and struggles.

Thought Esse played very well and that Wright was much more like his old self. Took his goal really, really well.

Impressed with Eccles too and Mason-Clark, although not his best game, really worked hard and put a shift in.

Sakamoto was lovely when he came on.

As for Rudoni, he's a player who makes things happen and he just didn't do that tonight. He wasn't poor, he was just average.

We continue to live dangerously at the back and it continues to be a worry.

I was going to edit that to make it "lively", but I quite like lovely, so will leave it in.

Harsh on Esse considering he scored.

He was knackered cus he worked his arse off, and gets an extra bonus point for giving it the Millwall fans.

Wright was good against 2 big centre halves

Lati solid

Sakamoto brilliant when he came on

Grimes was off it again

Dasilva was all over the place defensively

Rushworth is our player of the season

overall it was a good win against an awkward opponent, we are finding a way.

Rushworth 8 - would be a 9, but dropped an easy catch which could have been costly
MVE 7.5. - best game for a while
Kitching 6.5 - partly at fault for the goal, but decent otherwise
Lati 5 - poor, gave the ball away a lot, slow and partly at fault for the goal
Da Silva 5 - very important going forwards, but makes so many basic defensive errors hard to see him with us if we go up
Grimes 7 - did his job well, but struggles for pace and physically
Eccles 8 - Good performance all round
Rudoni 4 - V poor, not sure what is up with him
Esse 8 - great game effectiveness and is a proper handful. Feel he could play in a few positions for us
EMC 7.5 - Made the first, excellent first half, but faded somewhat
Wright 8.5 - full of fight, forced a save for the first, scored the second, had a goal disallowed

Subs
Sakamoto 8 - Quality, big hand in us winning the game
Torp 5.5 - still struggling at the moment. Looks rusty
BTA 6 - did well to hold the ball up for the goal, should have put the game to bed. Good to see him back
Simms N/A

Latibeaudiere was a bit of a bomb scare but made some vital defensive contributions in the last 15 minutes.

That is him in a nutshell . He is limited as a footballer but he is as brave as a lion when it comes to throwing himself into a challenge or a block
