Lampard - 10

Loses EMC, loses Rudoni, adjusts how we play, more direct, three clean sheets in a row, persists with Haji at no. 9 etc. Making good decisions.

Some on here think we should be 1970 Brazil every week and don't realise even the very best teams throughout history win scruffy at times . Delusional

Flying back to Bangkok on Monday back for the last 3 home games of the season in April, let's hope we are playing for an automatic promotion spot.

Did great for the second goal but is so frustrating to watch. Always looks a little disinterested and is often caught offside in positions where he should be more alert.Having said that I’m ok to persist with him

A 6? He scored 2 and he's happy to persist with the leagues top scorer. It is utter madness.

I meant observation as his performance as a whole . I would score him a 7.5/8 for his goals , especially the second but he was frustrating to watch first half

We didn't play well?

It was an away game at a supposedly hard place to get a point. We defended solidly leaving them with mainly long range shots. We attacked with purpose getting the goals our excellent chances deserved. We scored more goals than they had shots on target.

This is how we should play away games. Take the pressure then score. Our defence and GK are starting to look solid. Just 1 goal against in the last 4 games. We're now in a position to invite pressure, defend then score the goals instead of going all out attack and getting hit on the break. We even changed nearly half our side to give them a rest yet our reserve players are supposed to be poor.

Good away performance and a great win.

His form is so strange that I’m really not sure if you’re saying 6 is too high or too low??
Full credit for the 2nd goal. He was on a mission to get to it. I just really want to see more of that Haji.

We've won scoring 4 goals away from home and kept our 3rd clean shert on the bounce, yet so many saying try this or try that. Unless we need to tweak it for injury, then leave the fek alone. They'll all get their chance and we were so dominant that I forgot most of the game that Rudi wasn't playing.

Feel a bit for Wolfenden having come into this, but cant change it and the CB's along with Rushworth look solid.

MVE also playing superb again which is equally a shame for KKH, but I'm sure the subs appreciate just how good the lads in front of them are doing.

Long may it continue.

We can only guess what his orders are.

Most games he has run his arse off. This game he didn't. He scored twice then got took off.....

I'm not saying I'm right but maybe Lampard told him to reserve his energy. Wednesday night in London then an early kickoff in Sheffield when our opponents play 2 home games and get an extra day off. 3 subs including Wright after he scored his 2nd may give a hint.

Lampard is a great tactician and it wouldn't surprise me if true.

A few bright cherries, one or two pears, all others strawberries.

Also, Match Thread took a lively 8 of 10 until toward the end, then suffered late with petty personal attacks, so Match Thread final rating about a 5 of 10.

I think Kitching and Thomas have stepped up because The Wolfs waiting in the wings to take a place off one if them, that in itself is another masterstroke, long may it continue

Minus 10 is harsh for a man who has just overseen a 4-0 away win at Millwall.

I think the injury situation is exactly why people are talking about tweaking it, and Lampard did change it last night went Torp went off so if he's not available I think there's a good chance there will be a formation change on Saturday.

Probably true, although I'd keep the changes minimal and leave the formation, so if EMC is fit play him left and move BTA into the 10.
