Strange game as Wright could barely string 2 passes together but got 2 goals with the second being very good.
Simms did well when he came on, goal and big part in the 4th.
Rushworth was solid and made a couple of last ditch saves.
BTA made the first goal but missed an open goal (which wouldn't have counted anyway)

Decent changes from Lampard to switch formation as well, all the subs looked comfortable.

2 assists for MVE as well!

He's got to be close to the top as well.

Solid 7’s. 8 for Grimes, BTA and Rushworth. Wasn’t a fan of the formation change actually, invited them in a bit, but it turned out OK.

Scoring 4 away from home = 10

We didn’t play that well tonight , some scores reflect that

We all assumed that MVE moving on was an inevitable by-product of ‘the model’, but keeping him this season may be the difference between a playoff team and a promotion one.

Rushworth faultless, another disciplined performance from Thomas and Kitching, BTA caused them a lot of problems.

How do we score certain players a 6, when we've won 4.0 with a clean sheet away from home? Superb performance by all.

Rushworth 8

Clean sheet, decent saves, good positioning, good distribution.

MVE 8

2 assists. Even switched wings to take a throw. Did get beaten a couple of times by his mark but overall good show. Links well with KKH which might be an interesting development.

Kitching 7

Good

Thomas 7

Good

JDS 7

Got chipped towards the end and on another day could have cost a goal. Other than that - great game.

Grimes 8

Class as usual

Eccles 7

Got stuck in.

Torp 7

Looked tired but did a good shift.

BTA 8

He’s getting better and his pressing of the back line is the difference to this team. All action. Brilliant display.

Wright 7

Other than his goals was fairly quiet. But his second goal was superb. Top scorer in the league?

Tats 7

Got involved well but not his very best game.

Subs

All 7 except for KKH who gets an 8 for the Robbie Keane celebration

Were Torp to be out on Saturday
1. Go to 3 at the back?
2. Just put Allen in?
3. Option 2 but EMC for BTA?

Things that stood out for me.

BTA was excellent. Possibly his best ever game for us

Rushworth IS a good keeper.

Ellis Simms is deadly from one inch out

Haji is a goal machine. Doesn't matter how badly he plays if he is going to keep scoring game in and game out

The number one thing you want from your striker, is for him to score goals. He is totally ticking the box.

The result could have been quite different, had Millwall bagged that equaliser at the start of the second half, when they had us well pegged back

That second goal was so important. Changed everything back in our favour again.

Thought pretty much everyone had a decent game. JDS struggled a little, mind

BTA used the ball so well tonight. Kitching rock solid, as he has been all year. Grimes pulling the strings all night. Wright clinical. Rushworth exactly what we needed to sign.

It's hard to stay grounded.

Kitching is developing in to one of the best in the division. He's still aggressive but seems to have tempered it so it doesn't spill over . He leads the back line well and puts his body on the line when he needs to

Yep-average performance by his recent high standards but part of a defence that kept a clean sheet.

Rushworth is starting to look very assured. I reckon he’ll end up being our number 1 all season.

He'd need a Simon Moore style loss of form for Lampard to replace him.

3 clean sheets on the bounce, and looking a lot more confident than he did earlier on in the season, he is coming for crosses now and building trust with Kithing and Thomas, that has been a big improvement over earlier games.

I've noticed how his positioning has improved recently, so it looks like a lot of work has been done in training, and its definitely paying off.

BTA played very well. Really winning me round and tbh looks more effective than Saka whilst playing away from home.

Would look at BTA off the right and EMC on the left vs Sheff Weds

I still thought we were quite passive at centre back but the second and 4th goals were excellent
Mve energy to make that run was superb
