The players who were not first choice did nothing to say put me in the team.
KKH was terrible but I am sure he just had an off day.
Rapha and Andrews were prime Ayari. Possibly good players for the future. Allen along with those two and BTA were muscled off the ball every time.
Brau is a long way off yet. Got the physicality, needs to be more clinical with his passing and especially his shooting.
Wilson. no chance with second goal. First, a top quality goalie may have saved it.
Kitch. How many yellows before a suspension?
The players who came on looked class.
My worry is we have no one to come on after our first 11 who is top 6 sub class unless Sheaf can regain his form.

Kitching now has 2 yellows as have Rushworth and MVE hardly time to worry about yellow cards yet.

I'll think you'll find yellow cards only applied to the League Cup games.

Andrews isn’t ready for Champ football. He needs to loan out and get a proper season of men’s football.

Allen I’m sorry but he needs to move on. Adds nothing.

KKH was a car crash. He’s like Bambi. Not a single cross into the box!

Brau is a good technician and has potential. He needs more time to understand how we play but will come good.

Simms was Simms today. He is just ineffective. The way Haji came on an impacted the game shows how far he is from being a starter. He needs replacing so we have some impact.

BTA was ineffective today. Think he’s fine with the starting line up we had at the weekend but looked weak without the all stars.

Rapha had a couple of good runs but overall ineffective. Think he’s a good impact sub late in a game if we’re winning.

Simms played with our 2nd team players.. Wright with our first team

That is correct but that wasn’t the question. The question asked how many yellow cards did Kitching have.

Three League games three bookings, I think.

Doesn't excuse the fact that he looked zero threat against Millwall reserves or that he mistimes his jump for the ball every time!

Simms was useless. Yes he won a couple of free kicks, but he offer no real threat. Wright came on and was miles better. For one he can actually control a football. I thought Thomas was poor too. The amount of times he gives the ball away when the pass is easy is infuriating

His only league booking was on Saturday prior to that he hadn’t been booked.

I don’t. Simms is at the same level - he’s behind BTA and Wright as a forward and Lampard said none of the players who came in - him included - impressed enough to be considered on Saturday

He was also a big signing for us, who certainly wasn't bought in to be a second string player. For the cost his current levels are not acceptable really.

But that isn't true. He won 2 free kicks, one free kick, we nearly equalised, hit the post. He layed the ball off numerous times and won headers

Assante is not a centre forward, as shown in the Hull game. Assante played well wide right, against Derby and QPR. Simms scored 19 goals, season before last, appreciate some in the cup. He had zero support, last night.

Not sure how any of those make him a goal threat. He's a centre forward who I don't remember winning a header in their box, consistently mistimes his jump and I only remember one shot which was from distance and straight against the defender directly in front of him. Dress it up how you like, but he's not good enough.

* according to FotMob he had 3 shots with 1 on targe but I don't remember them if anyone can elaborate???

But that’s not enough. You expect that from a non league striker. His basic skill level (control, passing, heading) is terrible.

He scored b19 goals, season before last. How did he do that, if he is that crap?

There are legitimately dozens upon dozens of examples of strikers who have had one respectable season and done absolutely nothing else for their entire career afterwards.

If you're going to die on any sword don't let it be for Ellis Simms.

He has a goal or two in him. And he can put streaks together. But he’s a championship striker. He should score goals and be able to do the basics at this level.

A card every other game can be concerning if repeated in the long run whomever it is. Kitch's yellow against Milwall was necessary, against QPR daft.
Our CBs are light after our first choice two.

Bta, kkh, Allen stinkers.
Brau was alright
Rapha got at their full backs a couple of times
Simms grew into it

Ref needs to back away from fake tan and steroids.

I thought Simms battled well but basically had zero service, also got fouled a lot. The one where he spun their CB and was basically running at goal was very good CF play, fuck knows how that nugget of a ref didn't book the lad that pulled him back

Also what was with all the free kicks given against us at our corners? The ref was a fucking pellet.
